671 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ ثنا أبو العباس بن يعقوب ثنا العباس بن محمد الدوري ثنا محمد بن عبيد ثنا هارون بن عنترة عن أبيه قال : سمعت ابن عباس و سأله رجل أي الأعمال أفضل ؟ قال : ذكر الله أفضل فأعادها عليه ثلاث مرات ثم أنشأ يحدث فقال : ما جلس قوم في بيت من بيوت الله يدرسون كتاب الله يتعاطونه بينهم إلا كانوا أضياف الله و أظلت عليه الملائكة بأجنحتها ما داموا فيه حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره و ما سلك رجل في طريق يبتغي فيه العلم إلا سهل الله له به سبيلا إلى الجنة و من بطأ به عمله لم يسرع به نسبه

677 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ و أبو بكر بن الحسن قالا : ثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب أنا العباس بن الوليد بن مزيد أخبرني أبي ثنا ابن جابر حدثني عثمان بن حيان حدثتني أم الدرداء قالت : كان رجلان متواخيان تواخيا في الله عز و جل و كان إذا لقي أحدهما الآخر قال له : أي أخي تعال هلم نذكر الله بينما هما التقيا في السوق عند باب حانوت فقال أحدهما للآخر : أي أخي هلم نذكر الله عز و جل عسى الله أن يغفر لنا ثم لبثا لبثا فمرض أحدهما فأتاه صاحبه فقال : أي أخي انظر أن تأتيني في منامي فتخبرني ماذا لقيت بعدي قال : أفعل إن شاء الله قال : فلبث حولا ثم أتاه فقال : أي أخي أشعرت أنا حين التقينا في السوق عند الحانوت فدعونا الله عز و جل أن يغفر لنا أن الله غفر لنا يومئذ قال ابن جابر : لقد سماهما لي عثمان فنسيت اسمهما

678 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ ثنا أبو العباس بن يعقوب ثنا الخضر بن أبان ثنا سيار ثنا جعفر بن سليمان ثنا ثابت قال : كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم يواخي بين أصحابه فآخى بين سلمان الفارسي و بين أبي الدرداء و بين عوف بن مالك و بين الصعب بن جثامة فقال أحدهما لصاحبه : إن مت قبلك يا أخي فتراء لي قال : فمات صعب قبله فتراء له عوف فرآه فقال : كيف أنت يا أخي ؟ قال : بخير ما صنعت ؟ قال : غفر لنا يوم دعونا عند حانوت فلان و لم يكن في أهلي مصيبة إلا لحقني أجرها حتى هرة لنا ماتت منذ ثلاثة أيام

679 - أخبرنا أبو زكريا بن أبي إسحاق أنا أبو الفضل الحسن بن يعقوب بن يوسف البخاري ثنا يحيى بن أبي طالب أنا زيد بن الحباب أنا ابن أبي ذئب عن سعيد بن أبي سعيد المقبري عن أبيه عن عبد الله بن سلام قال : قال موسى عليه السلام : يا رب ما الشكر الذي ينبغي علي ؟ فأوحى الله عز و جل إليه : أن لا يزال لسانك رطبا من ذكري قال : يا رب إني أكون على حال أجلك أن أذكرك فيها قال : و ما هي قال : أكون جنبا أو على غائط أو إذا بلت قال : يا رب فما أقول ؟ قال : سبحانك و بحمدك جنبني الأذى سبحانك و بحمدك قني الأذى
