1412 - أخبرنا : أبو زكريا بن أبي إسحاق المزكي ثنا أبو الحسن أحمد بن محمد بن عبدوس الطرايفي ثنا عمر بن سعيد الداري ثنا القعنبي فيما قرئ على مالك عن ربيعة بن أبي عبد الرحمن أنه سمع أنسا بن مالك يقول : كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم ليس بالطويل البائن و لا بالقصير و لا بالأبيض الأمهق و لا بالآدم و ليس بالجعد القطط و لا بالسبط بعثه الله على رأس أربعين سنة فأقام بمكة عشر سنين و بالمدينة عشر سنين و توفاه الله على رأس ستين سنة و ليس في رأسه و لحيته عشرون شعرة بيضاء صلى الله عليه و سلم أخرجاه في الصحيح من حديث مالك و قد روينا عن الزبير بن عدي عن أنس بن مالك قال : قبض النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم و هو ابن ثلاث و ستين سنة

1413 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الرحمن السلمي أنا جدي أبو عمرو إسماعيل بن نجيد ثنا محمد بن عمار بن عطية ثنا محمد بن عمرو زنيج ثنا حكام بن سلم عن عثمان بن زائدة عن الزبير بن عدي عن أنس بن مالك قال : قبض النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم و هو ابن ثلاث و ستين و قبض أبو بكر و هو ابن ثلاث و ستين و قبض عمر و هو ابن ثلاث و ستين رواه مسلم في الصحيح عن زنيج و كذا قال الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة و عمرو بن دينار و أبو حمزة عن ابن عباس في روايتهما : أقام رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم بمكة ثلاث عشرة سنة و قال عمار بن أبي عمار من ابن عباس خمس عشرة سنة و رواية أبي حمزة و عمرو أولى أن تكون محفوظة

1414 - أخبرنا أبو بكر محمد بن الحسن بن فورك أنا عبد الله بن جعفر ثنا يونس بن حبيب ثنا أبو داود ثنا المسعودي عن عثمان بن عبد الله بن هرمز عن نافع بن جبير عن علي بن أبي طالب قال : كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم ليس بالقصير و لا بالطويل ضخم الرأس و اللحية خشن الكفين و القدمين ضخم الكراديس مشرب وجهه حمرة طويل المسربة إذا مشى يتكفا تكفئا كأنه ينحط من صبب لم أر قبله و لا بعده مثله صلى الله عليه و سلم

1415 - أخبرنا أبو الحسن علي بن محمد المقرئ أنا الحسن بن محمد بن إسحاق ثنا يوسف بن يعقوب ثنا محمد بن أبي بكر ثنا عيسى بن يونس ثنا عمرو بن عبد الله مولى عفرة قال : حدثني إبراهيم بن محمد و هو من ولد علي رضي الله عنه قال : كان علي رضي الله عنه إذا نعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال : لم يكن بالطويل و لا القصير و كان ربعة من القوم و لم يكن بالجعد القطط و لا بالسبط كان جعدا رجلا لم يكن بالمطهم و المكلثم و كان في الوجه تدوير أبيض مشربا أدعج العينين أهدب الأشفار جليل المشاش أجرد شثن الكفين و القدمين إذا مشى تقلع كأنما يمشي على صبب و إذا التفت التفت معا بين كتفيه خاتم النبوة أجود الناس كفا و أرحب الناس صدرا و أصدق الناس لهجة و أوفى الناس ذمة و ألينهم عريكة و ألزمهم عشرة من رآه بديهة هابه و من خالطه فعرفه أحبه يقول ناعته : لم أر قبله و لا بعده مثله صلى الله عليه و سلم

1416 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ أنا أحمد بن علي بن الحسن ثنا أبو عيسى الترمذي ثنا أبو جعفر محمد بن الحسين و علي بن محمد و أحمد بن عبدة قالوا ثنا عيسى بن يونس : فذكره بإسناد نحوه غير أنه لم يكن بالطويل الممغط و بالقصير المتردد و الكند أجرد ذو مسربة قال أبو جعفر : سمعت الأصمعي يقول في تفسير صفة النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم الممغط الذاهب طولا و المتردد الداخل بعضه في بعض قصرا فأما القطط الشديد الجعودة و الرجل الذي في شعره حجونة قليلا و أما المطهر فالبادن الكثير اللحم و المكلثم المدور الوجه يعني يقول فليس لذلك و المشذب الذي في ناصيته حمرة و الأدعح الشديد سواد العينين و الأهدب الطويل الأشفار و الكتد مجتمع الكتفين و هو الكاهل و المسربة هو الشعر الدقيق الذي كأنه قضيب من الصدر إلى السرة و الشثن الغليظ الأصابع من الكفين و القدمين و التقلع و التقلع أن يمشي بقوة و الصبب الحدور يقول انحدر إلى الصبوب و صبب و قوله جليل المشاش يريد رؤوس المناكب و العشيرة الصحبة و البديهة المفاجأة يقال بدهته بأمر : أي فاجأته

1417 - أخبرنا أبو بكر بن فورك أنا عبد الله بن جعفر ثنا يونس بن حبيب ثنا أبو داود ثنا زهير عن أبي إسحاق قال : قيل للبراء أكان وجه رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم كالسيف ؟ قال : لا بل كالشمس رواه البخاري في الصحيح عن أبي نعيم عن زهير و أخرجه مسلم من حديث جابر بن سمرة غير أنه قال : لا بل مثل الشمس و القمر مستديرا قال الإمام أحمد رحمه الله : روينا في رواية أخرى عن جابر بن سمرة أنه قال : رأيت النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم في ليلة أضحيان و عليه حلة حمراء فجعلت أنظر إليه و إلى القمر فلهو كان أحسن في عيني من القمر

1419 - و أخبرنا أبو علي الروذباري أنا الحسين بن الحسن بن أيوب ثنا يحيى بن أبي مسرة ثنا خلاد بن يحيى ثنا إسرائيل عن سماك بن حرب عن جابر بن سمرة قال : كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قد شمط مقدم رأسه و لحيته و كان إذا أدهن لم يتبين و إذا شعث رأسه تبين و كان كثير شعر اللحية فقال رجل : وجهه مثل السيف قال : لا بل كان مثل الشمس و القمر و كان مستديرا قال : و رأيت خاتمه عند كتفه مثل بيضة الحمامة يشبه جسده أخرجه مسلم في الصحيح من وجه آخر عن إسرائيل
