436 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الرحمن السلمي قال : سمعت علي بن محمد بن جهضم بمكة يقول سمعت علي بن محمد بن حاتم يقول سمعت الجنيد يقول : بت ليلة عند سري فلما كان بعض الليل قال لي : يا جنيد أنت نائم ؟ قلت : لا قال : الساعة أوقفني الحق بين يديه و قال : يا سري أتدري لم خلقت الخلق ؟ قلت : لا قال : خلقت الخلق فادعوا كلهم محبتي في و أدعوا محبتي فخلقت الدنيا فاشتغلوا بها من عشرة آلاف تسعة آلاف و بقي ألف فخلقت الجنة فاشتغل تسعمائة بالجنة و بقيت مائة فسلطت عليهم شيئا من البلاء فاشتغلوا عني بالبلاء من المائة تسعون و بقيت عشرة فقلت لهم : ما أنتم ؟ لا الدنيا أردتم و لا في الجنة رغبتم و لا من البلاء هربتم ؟ قالوا : و إنك لتعلم ما نريد فقال : إني أنزل بكم من البلاء ما لا تطيقه الجبال الرواسي فتثبتون لذلك ؟ فقالوا ألست أنت الفاعل بنا ؟ قد رضينا قلت : و أنتم عبيدي حقا

439 - أخبرنا أبو سعد الشعيبي قال : سمعت أبا الحسن علي بن الحسن بن المثنى الصوفي يقول سمعت أبا علي الحسن بن علوية يقول سمعت يحيى بن معاذ الرازي : و قد سئل أي مجلس أشهى و ألذ ؟ قال : الجلوس مع الفكرة في ميدان التوحيد تشم من رائحة المعرفة و تسقى من كأس المحبة سبحان الله ما ألذه من مجلس ! و أعذبه من شراب ! قيل : فأي طعام أشهى ؟ قال لقمة من ذكر الله في فم الصبر بتوحيد الله رفعها من مائدة الرضا عن الله عز و جل عند النظر لكرامة الله قيل : فما عيد المؤمن ؟ قال السرور بالإيمان و النزهة بالقرآن قال الله عز و جل : { قل بفضل الله وبرحمته فبذلك فليفرحوا هو خير مما يجمعون }

446 - أخبرنا أبو علي الروذباري أنا أبو زكريا عبد الله بن أحمد بن البلاذري الحافظ ثنا محمد بن عبد الله المعمري ثنا إبراهيم بن الجنيد حدثني محمد بن الحسين عن بكار بن خالد عن أبيه عن صالح المري قال : رأيت ريحانة المجنونة و قد كتبت من وراء جيبها : ( أنت أنسي و منيتي و سروري قد أبى القلب أن يحبى سواكا ) ( يا عزيزي و منيتي و اشتياقي طال شوقي متى يكون لقاكا ) ( ليس سؤلي من الجنان نعيم غير أني أريدها لأراكا ) و إذا على صدرها مكتوب : ( حسب المحب من الحبيب بعلمه أن المحب ببابه مطروح ) ( و القلب فيه و إن تنفس في الدجى بسهام لوعات الهوى مجروح )
