897 - حدثنا أبو زكريا بن أبي إسحاق المزكي أنا والدي أنبأني صديقي أبو محمد أحمد بن محمد الصوفي قال : كنت عند الجنيد فدخل الشبلي فقال جنيد : من كان الله همه طال حزنه فقال الشبلي : لا يا أبا القاسم ! بل من كان الله همه زال حزنه قال البيهقي رحمه الله : قول الجنيد محمل على ذكر الدنيا و قال الشبلي محمول على الآخرة و قول الجنيد محمول على حزنه عند رؤية التقصير من نفسه في القيام بواجباته و قول الشبلي محمول على سروره بما أعطي من التوفيق في الوقت حتى جعل الهم هما واحدا و الله أعلم

899 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ قال : سمعت أبا الحسين أحمد بن محمد بن إسماعيل يقول : سمعت أبي يقول : سمعت أحمد بن أبي الحواري يقول : سمعت أبا سليمان الداراني يقول : قد أكرمهم و أذلهم من قبل أن يخلقهم و اسكنهم الجنة و النار من قبل أن يوفقهم لطاعته و يبتليهم بمعصيته عدلا منه و تفضلا على أوليائه فسبحانه من كريم ما أكرمه ! و العجب لمن وجده كيف تركه ! و العجب لمن لم يجده كيف لا يطلبه ؟ ثم قال : إن السحاب يجري بالرياح و إن العباد إنما يحزنون بالتوفيق و إن التوفيق على قدر القربة و الله المستعان

900 - أخبرنا أبو الحسن علي بن محمد المهرجاني أنا محمد بن أحمد ابن يوسف ثنا أحمد بن عثمان ثنا أحمد بن عثمان ثنا أحمد بن إبراهيم حدثنا أبو الحسن بشر بن سالم عن مسعر عن بكير عن إبراهيم قال : ينبغي لمن لم يحزن أن يخاف أن لا يكون من أهل الجنة لأنهم قالوا : { الحمد لله الذي أذهب عنا الحزن } و ينبغي لمن لم يشفق أن يخاف أن لا يكون من أهل الجنة لأنهم قالوا : { إنا كنا قبل في أهلنا مشفقين } و رواه غيره عن أحمد بن إبراهيم فقال بشر بن مسلم و قال : عن إبراهيم التيمي

902 - أخبرنا أبو محمد عبد الله بن يوسف ثنا أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن إبراهيم الهروي بها قال : ثنا الحسن بن سفيان ثنا أبو ثابت مشرف بن أبان حدثني أبو بكر الموصلي قال : خرج فتح الموصلي إلى المصلى يوم الأضحى قال : خرج فنظر إلى القتار ثم رفع رأسه إلى السماء فقال : إلهي ! تقرب المتقربون إليك بقربانهم و إني متقرب إليك بحزني يا محبوب ! قال : ثم سقط مغشيا عليه فلما أفاق قال : إلى كم ترددني في أزقة الدنيا محزونا
