حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَی الْکِنْدِيِّ قَالَ جَائَ خَبَّابٌ إِلَی عُمَرَ فَقَالَ ادْنُ فَمَا أَحَدٌ أَحَقَّ بِهَذَا الْمَجْلِسِ مِنْکَ إِلَّا عَمَّارٌ فَجَعَلَ خَبَّابٌ يُرِيهِ آثَارًا بِظَهْرِهِ مِمَّا عَذَّبَهُ الْمُشْرِکُونَ

It was narrated that Abu Laila Al-Kindi said: “Khabbâb came to ‘Umar and said: ‘Come close, for no one deserves this meeting more than you, except ‘Animâr.’ Then Khabbâb started to show him the marks on his back where the idolaters had tortured him.” (Da’if)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّائُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَرْحَمُ أُمَّتِي بِأُمَّتِي أَبُو بَکْرٍ وَأَشَدُّهُمْ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ عُمَرُ وَأَصْدَقُهُمْ حَيَائً عُثْمَانُ وَأَقْضَاهُمْ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَأَقْرَؤُهُمْ لِکِتَابِ اللَّهِ أُبَيُّ بْنُ کَعْبٍ وَأَعْلَمُهُمْ بِالْحَلَالِ وَالْحَرَامِ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَأَفْرَضُهُمْ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَلَا وَإِنَّ لِکُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَمِينًا وَأَمِينُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ

It was narrated from Anas bin Mâlik that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: “The most merciful of my Ummah towards my Ummah is Abu Bakr; the one who adheres most sternly to the religion of Allah is ‘Umar; the most sincere of them in shyness and modesty is ‘Uthmân; the best judge is ‘Ali bin Abu Thlib; the best in reciting the Book of Allah is Ubayy bin Ka’b; the most knowledgeable of what is lawful and unlawful is Mu’âdh bin Jabal; and the most knowledgeable of the rules of inheritance (Fard’id) is Zaid bin Thâbit. And every nation has a trustworthy guardian, and the trustworthy guardian of this Ummah is Abu ‘Ubaidah bin Jarráh.” (Sahih)

اَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ، ← أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ← خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّائِ ← عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى،

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّائِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ مِثْلَهُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ قُدَامَةَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ يَقُولُ فِي حَقِّ زَيْدٍ وَأَعْلَمُهُمْ بِالْفَرَائِضِ

Another chain with similar wording (as no. 154) but he if said that Zaid was: “The most knowledgeable of them concerning the rules of inheritance.” (Sahih)
