Sunan Ibn Majah

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ قَابُوسَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَرْسَلَ أَبِي إِلَی عَائِشَةَ أَيُّ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يُوَاظِبَ عَلَيْهَا قَالَتْ کَانَ يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ يُطِيلُ فِيهِنَّ الْقِيَامَ وَيُحْسِنُ فِيهِنَّ الرُّکُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ

It was narrated from Qabus that his father said: "My father sent word to 'Aishah, asking which prayer the Prophet P.B.U.H most liked to perform regularly. She said: 'He used to perform four Rak'ah before the Zuhr, in which he would stand for a long time and bow and prostrate perfectly.''' (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مُعَتِّبٍ الضَّبِّيِّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ سَهْمِ بْنِ مِنْجَابٍ عَنْ قَزَعَةَ عَنْ قَرْثَعٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعًا إِذَا زَالَتْ الشَّمْسُ لَا يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُنَّ بِتَسْلِيمٍ وَقَالَ إِنَّ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَائِ تُفْتَحُ إِذَا زَالَتْ الشَّمْسُ

It was narrated from Abu Ayyub that the Prophet P.B.U.H used to perform four Rak'ah before the Zuhr when the sun had passed its zenith. and he did not separate them with a Taslim. He said, "The gates of heaven are opened when the sun passes its zenith." (Da'if)
