حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ الْأُمِّيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّنِي إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يُبْغِضُنِي إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ

It was narrated that ‘Ali said: “The unlettered Prophet informed me (saying) that none but a believer would love me and none but a hypocrite would hate me.” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ أَلَا تَرْضَی أَنْ تَکُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَی

Sa’d bin Abu Waqqâs narrated from his father that the Prophet P.B.U.H said to ‘Ali: “Would it not please you to be to me as Hârun was to Musa?” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ أَخْبَرَنِي حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ الْبَرَائِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّتِهِ الَّتِي حَجَّ فَنَزَلَ فِي بَعْضِ الطَّرِيقِ فَأَمَرَ الصَّلَاةَ جَامِعَةً فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ أَلَسْتُ أَوْلَی بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ قَالُوا بَلَی قَالَ أَلَسْتُ أَوْلَی بِکُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ قَالُوا بَلَی قَالَ فَهَذَا وَلِيُّ مَنْ أَنَا مَوْلَاهُ اللَّهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ اللَّهُمَّ عَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ

It was narrated that Barâ’ bin ‘Azib said: “We returned with the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h a from his Hajj that he had performed and we stopped at some point on the road. He commanded that prayer should be performed in congregation, then he took the hand of ‘Ali and said: ‘Am I not dearer to the believers than their own selves?’ They said: ‘Yes indeed.’ He said: ‘Am I not dearer to every believer than his own sell?’ They said: ‘Yes indeed.’ He said: ‘This man is the friend of those whose master I am.’ 0 Allah, take as friends those who take him as a friend, and take as enemies those who take him as an enemy.’” (Da’if)

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَی حَدَّثَنَا الْحَکَمُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَی قَالَ کَانَ أَبُو لَيْلَی يَسْمُرُ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ فَکَانَ يَلْبَسُ ثِيَابَ الصَّيْفِ فِي الشِّتَائِ وَثِيَابَ الشِّتَائِ فِي الصَّيْفِ فَقُلْنَا لَوْ سَأَلْتَهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلَيَّ وَأَنَا أَرْمَدُ الْعَيْنِ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَرْمَدُ الْعَيْنِ فَتَفَلَ فِي عَيْنِي ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ عَنْهُ الْحَرَّ وَالْبَرْدَ قَالَ فَمَا وَجَدْتُ حَرًّا وَلَا بَرْدًا بَعْدَ يَوْمِئِذٍ وَقَالَ لَأَبْعَثَنَّ رَجُلًا يُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ لَيْسَ بِفَرَّارٍ فَتَشَرَّفَ لَهُ النَّاسُ فَبَعَثَ إِلَی عَلِيٍّ فَأَعْطَاهَا إِيَّاهُ

It is narrated Abdur Rehman bin Abu Laila said : Abu Laila used to traveled with Ali and he used to wear summer clothes in winter and winter clothes in summer. We said: ‘Why don’t you ask him (about that)?’ He said: “The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H sent for me and my eyes were sore, on the Day of Khaibar. I said: ‘0 Messenger of Allah, my eyes are sore.’ He put some spittle into my eyes, then he said: ‘0 Allah, take heat and cold away from him.’ I never felt hot or cold again after that day. He [the Prophet } said: ‘I will send a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and whom Allah and His Messenger love, and he is not one who flees from the battlefield.’ The people craned their necks to see, and he sent for ‘All and gave it (the banner) to him.” (Da’if)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی الْوَاسِطِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّی بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَبُوهُمَا خَيْرٌ مِنْهُمَا

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: ‘Hasan and Husain will be the leaders of the youth of Paradise, and their father is better than them.” (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَسُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَإِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَی قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيکٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ حُبْشِيِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَلِيٌّ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَلَا يُؤَدِّي عَنِّي إِلَّا عَلِيٌّ

It was narrated that Hubshi bin Junâdah said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.Hsay: “Ali is part of me and I am part of him, and no one will represent me except .’” (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ الرَّازِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَی أَنْبَأَنَا الْعَلَائُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ أَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَأَخُو رَسُولِهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا الصِّدِّيقُ الْأَکْبَرُ لَا يَقُولُهَا بَعْدِي إِلَّا کَذَّابٌ صَلَّيْتُ قَبْلَ النَّاسِ بِسَبْعِ سِنِينَ

It was narrated that ‘Abbád bin ‘Abdullah said; “Ali said: ‘I am the slave of Allah and the brother of His Messenger p.b.u.h. .I am the greatest teller of the truth (Siddiq Akbar), arid no one will say this after me but a liar. I prayed seven years before the people.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ ابْنِ سَابِطٍ وَهُوَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ قَدِمَ مُعَاوِيَةُ فِي بَعْضِ حَجَّاتِهِ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ سَعْدٌ فَذَکَرُوا عَلِيًّا فَنَالَ مِنْهُ فَغَضِبَ سَعْدٌ وَقَالَ تَقُولُ هَذَا لِرَجُلٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ کُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَی إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ لَأُعْطِيَنَّ الرَّايَةَ الْيَوْمَ رَجُلًا يُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

It was narrated that Sa’d bin Abu Waqqas said: “Mu’äwiyah came on one of his pilgrimages and Sa’d entered Upon him. They mentioned ‘Ali, and Mu’áwiyah criticized him. Sa’d became angry and said: ‘Are you saying this of a man of whom I heard the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H say: “If I am a person’s close friend, ‘Ali is also his close friend.” And I heard him say: “You are to me like Hárum was to Musa, except that there will be no Prophet after me.” And I heard him say; “I will give the baimer today to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger.” (Sahih)
