حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو کُرَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ وَعَبْدَةُ وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ وَمَالِکُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَحَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ وَشُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ انْتِزَاعًا يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنْ النَّاسِ وَلَکِنْ يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمُ بِقَبْضِ الْعُلَمَائِ فَإِذَا لَمْ يُبْقِ عَالِمًا اتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ رُئُوسًا جُهَّالًا فَسُئِلُوا فَأَفْتَوْا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ فَضَلُّوا وَأَضَلُّوا

It was narrated from ‘Abdullâh bin ‘Amr bin ‘As that the Messenger of Allah s.a.w.w. said: ‘Allah will not take away knowledge by removing it from people (from their hearts). Rather He will take away knowledge by taking away the scholars, then when there are no scholars left, the people will take the ignorant as their leaders. They will be asked questions and they will issue verdicts without knowledge, thus they will go astray and lead others astray.’” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أُفْتِيَ بِفُتْيَا غَيْرَ ثَبَتٍ فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَی مَنْ أَفْتَاهُ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah s.a.w.w said: ‘Whoever is given a Fatwa (verdict) that has no basis, then his sin will be upon the one who issued that Fatwa.” (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَائِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ ابْنِ أَنْعُمٍ هُوَ الْإِفْرِيقِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِلْمُ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَمَا وَرَائَ ذَلِکَ فَهُوَ فَضْلٌ آيَةٌ مُحْکَمَةٌ أَوْ سُنَّةٌ قَائِمَةٌ أَوْ فَرِيضَةٌ عَادِلَةٌ

It was narrated that ‘Abdullâh bin ‘Amr said: “The Messenger of Allah s.a.w.w. said: ‘Knowledge is based on three things, and anything beyond that is superfluous: a clear Verse, an established Sunnah, or the rulings by which the inheritance is divided fairly.’” (Da’if)

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ سَجَّادَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نُسَيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ قَالَ لَمَّا بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَی الْيَمَنِ قَالَ لَا تَقْضِيَنَّ وَلَا تَفْصِلَنَّ إِلَّا بِمَا تَعْلَمُ فَإِنْ أَشْکَلَ عَلَيْکَ أَمْرٌ فَقِفْ حَتَّی تَبَيَّنَهُ أَوْ تَکْتُبَ إِلَيَّ فِيهِ

Mu’âdh bin Jabal said: “When the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H sent me to Yemen, he said: ‘Do not pass any judgement or make any decision except on the basis of what you know. If you are uncertain about a matter, wait until you understand it fully, or write to me concerning it.’” (Maudu’)

حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَمْ يَزَلْ أَمْرُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُعْتَدِلًا حَتَّی نَشَأَ فِيهِمْ الْمُوَلَّدُونَ أَبْنَائُ سَبَايَا الْأُمَمِ فَقَالُوا بِالرَّأْيِ فَضَلُّوا وَأَضَلُّوا

It was narrated that ‘Abdullâh bin ‘Aim bin ‘Aas said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H say: ‘The affairs of the Children of Israel remained fair until Muwatladufl emerged among them — the children of female slaves from other nations. They spoke of their own opinions (in religious matters), and so they went astray and led others astray.’” (Da’if)
