حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا الصَّبْرُ عِنْدَ الصَّدْمَةِ الْأُولَی

It was narrated from Anas bin Maik that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'Patience should come with the first shock." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنْ صَبَرْتَ وَاحْتَسَبْتَ عِنْدَ الصَّدْمَةِ الْأُولَی لَمْ أَرْضَ لَکَ ثَوَابًا دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ

It was narrated from Abu Umãmah that the Prophet said: “Allah says: ‘0 son of Adam! If you are patient and seek reward at the moment of first shock, I will not approve of any reward for you less than Paradise.” (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِکِ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَهَا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَابُ بِمُصِيبَةٍ فَيَفْزَعُ إِلَی مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ اللَّهُمَّ عِنْدَکَ احْتَسَبْتُ مُصِيبَتِي فَأْجُرْنِي فِيهَا وَعَوِّضْنِي مِنْهَا إِلَّا آجَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا وَعَاضَهُ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا قَالَتْ فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ذَکَرْتُ الَّذِي حَدَّثَنِي عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ اللَّهُمَّ عِنْدَکَ احْتَسَبْتُ مُصِيبَتِي هَذِهِ فَأْجُرْنِي عَلَيْهَا فَإِذَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُولَ وَعِضْنِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا قُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي أُعَاضُ خَيْرًا مِنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ثُمَّ قُلْتُهَا فَعَاضَنِي اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَآجَرَنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that Abu Salamah told her that he heard the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H say: There is no Muslim who is stricken with a calamity and reacts by saying as Allah has commmanded: (Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return. a Allah, with You I seek reward for my calamity, so reward me for it and compensate me).' but Allah will reward him for that and compensate him with something better than it." She said: "When Abu Salamah died, I remembered what he had told me from the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H and I said: 'lnna lillahi, wa inna ilayhi raji'un.(Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return. 0 Allah, with You I seek reward for my calamity, so reward me lor it).' But when I wanted to say wa 'awwidni minha. (and compensate me with better), I said to myself: 'How can I be compensated with something better than Abu Salamah?' Then I said it, and Allah compensated me with Muhammad P.B.U.H and rewarded me for my calamity." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السُّکَيْنِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ فَتَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَابًا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّاسِ أَوْ کَشَفَ سِتْرًا فَإِذَا النَّاسُ يُصَلُّونَ وَرَائَ أَبِي بَکْرٍ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ عَلَی مَا رَأَی مِنْ حُسْنِ حَالِهِمْ رَجَائَ أَنْ يَخْلُفَهُ اللَّهُ فِيهِمْ بِالَّذِي رَآهُمْ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَيُّمَا أَحَدٍ مِنْ النَّاسِ أَوْ مِنْ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أُصِيبَ بِمُصِيبَةٍ فَلْيَتَعَزَّ بِمُصِيبَتِهِ بِي عَنْ الْمُصِيبَةِ الَّتِي تُصِيبُهُ بِغَيْرِي فَإِنَّ أَحَدًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَنْ يُصَابَ بِمُصِيبَةٍ بَعْدِي أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ مُصِيبَتِي

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H opened a door that was between him and the people or drew back a curtain and he saw the people praying behind Abu Bakr. He praised Allah for what he saw of their good situation and hoped that Allah succeed him by what he saw in them. He said: '0 people, whoever among the people or among the believers is stricken with a calamity, then let him console himself with the loss of me, for no one among my nation will be stricken with any calamity worse than my loss:" (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِيهَا قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أُصِيبَ بِمُصِيبَةٍ فَذَکَرَ مُصِيبَتَهُ فَأَحْدَثَ اسْتِرْجَاعًا وَإِنْ تَقَادَمَ عَهْدُهَا کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مِنْ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلَهُ يَوْمَ أُصِيبَ

It was narrated from Fatimah bint Husain that her father said: The Prophet P.B.U.H said: "Whoever was stricken with a calamity and when he remember it he says 'Inna lillahi, wa inna Iilayhi raji'un. (Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return): even though it happened a long time ago, Allah will record for him a reward like that of the day it befell him:' (Da'if)
