حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَرَأَ ابْنُ آدَمَ السَّجْدَةَ فَسَجَدَ اعْتَزَلَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَبْکِي يَقُولُ يَا وَيْلَهُ أُمِرَ ابْنُ آدَمَ بِالسُّجُودِ فَسَجَدَ فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَأُمِرْتُ بِالسُّجُودِ فَأَبَيْتُ فَلِي النَّارُ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ يَا حَسَنُ أَخْبَرَنِي جَدُّکَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ کُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ الْبَارِحَةَ فِيمَا يَرَی النَّائِمُ کَأَنِّي أُصَلِّي إِلَی أَصْلِ شَجَرَةٍ فَقَرَأْتُ السَّجْدَةَ فَسَجَدْتُ فَسَجَدَتْ الشَّجَرَةُ لِسُجُودِي فَسَمِعْتُهَا تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ احْطُطْ عَنِّي بِهَا وِزْرًا وَاکْتُبْ لِي بِهَا أَجْرًا وَاجْعَلْهَا لِي عِنْدَکَ ذُخْرًا قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ السَّجْدَةَ فَسَجَدَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ فِي سُجُودِهِ مِثْلَ الَّذِي أَخْبَرَهُ الرَّجُلُ عَنْ قَوْلِ الشَّجَرَةِ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "I was with the Prophet P.B.U.H and a man came to him and said: 'Last night while I was sleeping, I saw that I was praying towards the b!'se of a tree. I recited (an Ayah of) prostration and prostrated, and the tree prostrated when I did, and I heard it saying: (0 Allah, reduce my burden of sin thereby, reward me for it and store it for me with You).' Ibn 'Abbas said: "I saw the Prophet P.B.U.H recite (an Ayah of) prostration and then prostrate, and I heard him saying in his prostration something like that which the man had told him the tree said." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ إِذَا سَجَدَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَکَ سَجَدْتُ وَبِکَ آمَنْتُ وَلَکَ أَسْلَمْتُ أَنْتَ رَبِّي سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي شَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ تَبَارَکَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ

It was narrated from 'Ali that whenever the Prophet P.B.U.H prostrated he would say: (0 Allah, to You I have prostrated, and in You I have believed, and to You I have submitted. You are my Lord; my face has prostrated to the One Who gave it hearing and sight. Blessed is Allah the best of creators.)." (Sahih)
