حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَقَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'Whoever fasts Ramadan and spends its nights in prayer, out of faith and in hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven:" (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ حَدَّثَنَا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُرَشِيِّ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ صُمْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمْ يَقُمْ بِنَا شَيْئًا مِنْهُ حَتَّی بَقِيَ سَبْعُ لَيَالٍ فَقَامَ بِنَا لَيْلَةَ السَّابِعَةِ حَتَّی مَضَی نَحْوٌ مِنْ ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ کَانَتْ اللَّيْلَةُ السَّادِسَةُ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا فَلَمْ يَقُمْهَا حَتَّی کَانَتْ الْخَامِسَةُ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا ثُمَّ قَامَ بِنَا حَتَّی مَضَی نَحْوٌ مِنْ شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ نَفَّلْتَنَا بَقِيَّةَ لَيْلَتِنَا هَذِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ مَنْ قَامَ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ حَتَّی يَنْصَرِفَ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْدِلُ قِيَامَ لَيْلَةٍ ثُمَّ کَانَتْ الرَّابِعَةُ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا فَلَمْ يَقُمْهَا حَتَّی کَانَتْ الثَّالِثَةُ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا قَالَ فَجَمَعَ نِسَائَهُ وَأَهْلَهُ وَاجْتَمَعَ النَّاسُ قَالَ فَقَامَ بِنَا حَتَّی خَشِينَا أَنْ يَفُوتَنَا الْفَلَاحُ قِيلَ وَمَا الْفَلَاحُ قَالَ السُّحُورُ قَالَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَقُمْ بِنَا شَيْئًا مِنْ بَقِيَّةِ الشَّهْرِ

It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: "We fasted Ramadan with the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H and he did not lead us in praying Qiyaam (prayers at night) during any part of it, until there were seven nights left.' He led us in praying Qiyaam on the seventh night until approximately one third of the night had passed, Then on the sixth night which followed it he did not lead us in prayer, Then he led us in praying Qiyaam on the fifth night which followed it until almost half the night had passed, I said: '0 Messenger of Allah, would that we had offered voluntary prayers throughout the whole night: He said. 'Whoever stands with the Imam until he finishes, it is equivalent to spending the whole night in prayer: Then on the fourth night which followed it, he did not lead us in prayer, until the third night that followed it, when he gathered his wives and family, and the people gathered, and he led us in prayer until we feared that we would miss the Falaah," It was asked: "What is the Falaah?" He said: "Suhur." He said: "Then he did not lead us in prayer at night for the rest of the month." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَی عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيِّ عَنْ النَّضْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ حَکِيمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْحُدَّانِيُّ کِلَاهُمَا عَنْ النَّضْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ قَالَ لَقِيتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَقُلْتُ حَدِّثْنِي بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ أَبِيکَ يَذْکُرُهُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ نَعَمْ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَکَرَ شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ شَهْرٌ کَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْکُمْ صِيَامَهُ وَسَنَنْتُ لَکُمْ قِيَامَهُ فَمَنْ صَامَهُ وَقَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا خَرَجَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ کَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ

It was narrated that Nadr bin Shaiban said: "I met Abu Salamah bin 'Abdur-Rahman and said: 'Tell me a Hadith that you heard from your father, in which mention is made of the month of Ramadan.' He said: 'Yes, my father narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H mentioned the month of Ramadan and said: "A month which Allah has enjoined upon you to fast, and in which I have established Qiyaam (prayers at night) as Sunnah for you. So whoever fasts it and spends its nights in prayer out of faith and in hope of reward; he will emerge from his sins as on the day his mother bore him." (Da'if)
