حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا جَلْسَةً زَادَ بِشْرٌ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet P.B.U.H used to deliver two sermons, and he would sit briefly between the two. (One of the narrators) Bishr added: "While he was standing." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَی الْمِنْبَرِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَائُ

It was narrated from Jafar bin 'Amr bin Huraith that his father said: "I saw the Prophet P.B.U.H delivering the sermon on the pulpit, wearing a black turban."(Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاکِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ کَانَ يَقْعُدُ قَعْدَةً ثُمَّ يَقُومُ

It was narrated that Simek bin Harb said: "I heard Jabir bin Samurah say: 'The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H used to deliver the sermon standing, but he used to sit down briefly, then stand up.'"(Sahih)

جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، ← سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ← شُعْبَةُ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٌ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ،

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سِمَاکٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ کَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَقْرَأُ آيَاتٍ وَيَذْکُرُ اللَّهَ وَکَانَتْ خُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا وَصَلَاتُهُ قَصْدًا

It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said: "The Prophet P.B.U.H used to deliver the sermon standing, then he would sit down, then he would stand up and recite some Verses and remember Allah. His sermon was moderate and his prayer was moderate (i.e., neither too long nor too short)." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْکَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ إِذَا صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ سَلَّمَ

It was narrated from Jabir that whenever the Prophet P.B.U.H ascended the pulpit he would greet (the people with Salam). (Da'if)
