حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ أَبِي رَمْلَةَ الشَّامِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ هَلْ شَهِدْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِيدَيْنِ فِي يَوْمٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَکَيْفَ کَانَ يَصْنَعُ قَالَ صَلَّی الْعِيدَ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَنْ شَائَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَلْيُصَلِّ

It was narrated that Iyâs bin Abi Ramlah Ash-Shâmi said: “I heard a man asking Zaid bin Arqam: ‘Were you present with the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H when there were two ‘Eid on one day?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘What did he do?’ He said: ‘He prayed the ‘Eid prayer, then he granted a concession not to pray the Friday, then he said: “Whoever wants to pray (Friday), let him do so.” (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّی الْحِمْصِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنِي مُغِيرَةُ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ اجْتَمَعَ عِيدَانِ فِي يَوْمِکُمْ هَذَا فَمَنْ شَائَ أَجْزَأَهُ مِنْ الْجُمُعَةِ وَإِنَّا مُجَمِّعُونَ إِنْ شَائَ اللَّهُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنِي مُغِيرَةُ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbâs that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: “Two ‘Eld have come together on this day of yours. So whoever wants, that (the ‘Eld prayer) will suffice him, and he will not have to pray Friday, but we will pray Friday if Allah wills.” (Da’if) Another chain with similar wording.

حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ حَدَّثَنَا مِنْدَلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ اجْتَمَعَ عِيدَانِ عَلَی عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّی بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَنْ شَائَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَأْتِهَا وَمَنْ شَائَ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفَ فَلْيَتَخَلَّفْ

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “Two ‘Eid came together at the time of the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H, so he led the people in prayer, then he said: ‘Whoever wishes to come to Friday (prayer), let him come, and whoever wishes to stay behind, let him stay behind.” (Hasan)
