قَرَأْتُ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْبَرْمَكِيِّ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْخَلَّالُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِي: حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ , يَجُوزُ لِي أَنْ أُصْلِحَهُ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ , قَالَ: «أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ هَذَا لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ»

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرُّويَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْخَزَّازُ، أنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْجَلَّابُ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَرْبِيَّ , يَقُولُ: «لَزِمْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ سَنَتَيْنِ , فَكَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ يُحَدِّثُنَا يَخْرُجُ مَعَهُ مَحْبَرَةٌ مُجَلَّدَةٌ بِجِلْدٍ أَحْمَرَ وَقَلَمًا , فَإِذَا مَرَّ بِهِ السَّقْطُ فِي كِتَابِهِ أَصْلَحَهُ , تَوَرُّعًا أَنْ يَأْخُذَ مِنْ مَحْبَرَةِ أَحَدٍ شَيْئًا»

أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أنا أَبُو سَهْلٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَسَنِ , قَالَ: قَالَ عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ لِأَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ: " كُنَّا يَوْمًا عِنْدَ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ , فَغَلِطَ فِي شَيْءٍ , فَرَدَدْنَاهُ عَلَيْهِ , فَرَمَى بِكِتَابِهِ إِلَى رَجُلٍ , فَقَالَ: أَصْلِحْ يَا هَذَا , فَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ يَصِفُ الْكَلَامَ لِلنَّاسِ عَنْ عَفَّانَ "

أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ بِالْبَصْرَةِ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الدَّقَّاقَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عُثْمَانَ , يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا زُرْعَةَ الرَّازِيَّ , يَقُولُ: «أَنَا أُصْلِحُ كِتَابِي مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْحَدِيثِ إِلَى الْيَوْمِ» أَنْشَدَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَسْعُودُ بْنُ نَاصِرِ بْنِ أَبِي زَيْدٍ السِّجْزِيُّ , قَالَ: أَنْشَدَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْأَدِيبُ بِنَيْسَابُورَ لِنَفْسِهِ: " [البحر السريع] كَمْ مِنْ كِتَابٍ قَدْ تَصَفَّحْتُهُ ... وَقُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِيَ: صَحَّحْتُهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا طَالَعْتُهُ ثَانِيًا ... رَأَيْتُ تَصْحِيفًا فَأَصْلَحْتُهُ"

مَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عُمَرَ عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ، ثنا الْقَاضِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمَحَامِلِيُّ , إِمْلَاءً، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ , عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ , عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَّ يُدْنِي إِلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ , وَكَانَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةِ الْإِنْسَانِ» - كَانَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ فِي أَصْلِ ابْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ: عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمِنِ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَّ يُدْنِي إِلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ , وَقَدْ سَقَطَ ذِكْرُ عَائِشَةَ , وَالْحَدِيثُ مَحْفُوظٌ لَا يُخْتَلَفُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ فِيهِ , أَنَّهُ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , مَعَ اسْتِحَالَةِ كَوْنِ عَمْرَةَ مُدْرِكَةً لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَّ , فَأَلْحَقْنَا فِيهِ ذِكْرَ عَائِشَةَ إِذْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْهُ بُدٌّ , وَعَلِمْنَا أَنَّ الْمَحَامِلِيَّ كَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ , وَإِنَّمَا سَقَطَ مِنْ كِتَابِ شَيْخِنَا أَبِي عُمَرَ، وَقُلْنَا فِيهِ يَعْنِي عَنْ عَائِشَةَ لِأَجْلِ أَنَّ ابْنَ مَهْدِيٍّ لَمْ يَقُلْ لَنَا ذَلِكَ , وَهَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ غَيْرَ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ شُيُوخِنَا يَفْعَلُ فِي مِثْلِ هَذَا

أَنْبَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكَاتِبُ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ حِبَّانَ , قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي: قَالَ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا: قُلْتُ لِنُعَيْمِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ , وَكَانَ لِي أَخًا وَصَدِيقًا: " كُنَّا جَمِيعًا بِالْبَصْرَةِ , فَلَمَّا قَدِمْتُ مِصْرَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ نُعَيْمًا يَأْخُذُ كُتُبَ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ مِنْ غُلَامٍ يَكُونُ بِعَسْقَلَانَ , قَالَ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا: وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ هَذَا الْغُلَامَ , وَكَانَ خَالُهُ سَمِعَ هَذِهِ الْكُتُبَ مِنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ , فَجَاءَنِي نُعَيْمٌ يَوْمًا بِمِصْرَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ تَأْخُذُ كُتُبَ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ مِنْ غُلَامٍ سَمِعَهُ خَالُهُ مِنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ فَتُحَدِّثُ بِهَا , فَقَالَ لِي: يَا أَبَا زَكَرِيَّا , مَنْ كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ أَنَّهُ يَتَوَهَّمُ عَلَيَّ شَيْئًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ؟ مَا كُنْتُ أَحْسَبُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ تَتَوَهَّمُ عَلَيَّ شَيْئًا مِنْ هَذَا , إِنَّمَا كِتَابِي أَصَابَهُ مَاءٌ فَدَرَسَ بَعْضُهُ , فَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ فِي بَيَانِ هَذَا , فَإِذَا أَشْكَلَ عَلَيَّ حَرْفٌ نَظَرْتُ فِي كِتَابِهِ , ثُمَّ أَنْظُرُ فِي كِتَابِي فأَعْرِفُهَا , فَإِمَّا أَنْ أَكْتُبَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا لَا أَعْرِفُهُ , أَوْ أُصْلِحُ مِنْهُ كِتَابِي , فَمَعَاذَ اللَّهِ " قَالَ الْخَطِيبُ: وَفِي الْمُحَدِّثِينَ مَنْ لَا يَسْتَجِيزُ أَنْ يُلْحِقَ فِي كِتَابِهِ مَا دَرَسَ مِنْهُ , وَإِنْ كَانَ مَعْرُوفًا مَحْفُوظًا , وَمِمَّنْ سُمِّيَ لَنَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَسْلُكُ هَذِهِ الطَّرِيقَةَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مَاسِي الْبَزَّازُ , فَإِنَّ بَعْضَ كُتُبِهِ احْتَرَقَ وَأَكَلَتِ النَّارُ مِنْ حَوَاشِيهِ بَعْضَ الْكِتَابَةِ , وَوُجِدَ نُسَخٌ بِمَا احْتَرَقَ , فَلَمْ يَرَ أَنْ يَسْتَدْرِكَ الْمُحْتَرِقَ مِنْ تِلْكَ النُّسَخِ , وَاسْتِدْرَاكُ مِثْلِ هَذَا عِنْدِي جَائِزٌ إِذَا وَجَدَ نُسْخَةً يُوثَقُ بِصِحَّتِهَا وَتَسْكُنُ النَّفْسُ إِلَيْهَا , وَلَوْ بَيَّنَ ذَلِكَ فِي حَالِ الرِّوَايَةِ كَانَ أَوْلَى , وَهُوَ بِمَثَابَةِ اسْتِثْبَاتِ الْحَافِظِ مَا شَكَّ فِيهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ غَيْرِهِ , أَوْ حِفْظِهِ , وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ مِنَّا الرِّوَايَاتُ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِي إِجَازَةِ ذَلِكَ

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْأَزْهَرِيُّ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْخَزَّازُ، أنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو مُوسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ دَاوُدَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَسْمَعُ الْحَدِيثَ فَيَذْهَبُ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ , أَوْ يَذْهَبُ مِنْهُ الشَّيْءُ فَيُذَكِّرُهُ صَاحِبٌ لَهُ يَصِيرُ إِلَيْهِ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى {فَتُذَكِّرَ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى} [البقرة: 282] "
