مَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أُمُورِ الْمُسْلمينَ شَيئًا فَحَسُنَتْ سَرِيرَتُهُ، رُزِقَ الْهَيبَةَ مِنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَإذَا بَسَطَ يَدَهُ لَهُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ، رُزِقَ الْمَحَبَّةَ منْهُمْ، وَإذَا ادَّخَرَ عَلَيهِمْ أَمْوالهُمْ دَخِرَ عَلَيهِ مَالهُ، وَإذَا أَنْصَفَ الضَّعِيفَ مِنَ الْقَوب قَوَّى اللهُ سُلطَانَهُ، وإذَا عَدَلَ فِيهِمْ مُدَّ فِي عُمُرِهِ. الحكيم، والديلمي، وابن النجار عن ابن عباس (1).
