حَدَّثَنَا. . . . . . حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ، عَنْ أَشْيَاخٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ: أَنَّهُمْ خَرَجُوا إِلَى عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , وَعَلَيْهِمْ حَكِيمُ بْنُ جَبَلَةَ، وَفِيهِمْ سَدُوسُ بْنُ عَبْسٍ , وَرَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي ضُبَيْعَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ: وَيْلَكَ، فَكَانَ حَكِيمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ مِمَّنْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ , فَأَصَابَ ثَوْبَ مَالِكٍ نَضْحٌ مِنْ دَمِهِ، فَكَانَ يَقُولُ: لَا أَغْسِلُهُ أَبَدًا، وَشَقَّ سَدُوسٌ إِدَاوَةً فِيهَا مَاءٌ - جَاءُوا بِهِ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - بِالرُّمْحِ

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ: " شَقَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ عَبْسٍ لِعُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مَطْهَرَةً فِيهَا مَاءٌ فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ أَظْمِئْهُ قَالَ: فَرَكِبَ الرَّجُلُ الْبَحْرَ مَعَ أَصْحَابٍ [ص:1278] لَهُ، وَكَانَ ثَقِيلًا فَنَفِدَ مَاؤُهُمْ، فَانْتَهَوْا إِلَى سَاحِلِ الْيَمَنِ فَخَرَجُوا وَخَرَجَ مَعَهُمْ، وَكَانُوا أَخَفَّ مِنْهُ فَأَدْرَكَهُمُ الْعَطَشُ فَمَاتَ عَطَشًا "

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ فُرَافِصَةَ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ: كَانَ مِنَّا رَجُلٌ مِمَّنْ خَرَجَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يُنْكِرُ عَلَيْهِ سِيرَتَهُ، فَشَقَّ إِدَاوَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ - أُتِيَ بِهَا عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - بِرُمْحِهِ، وَقَالَ: لَا تَذُوقُ الْبَارِدَ أَبَدًا. فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: «اللَّهُمَّ اقْتُلْهُ عَطَشًا» . فَخَرَجَ غَازِيًا مَعَ رِجَالٍ مِنَّا فَأَصَابَهُمْ عَطَشٌ وَبَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ الْمَاءِ عَقَدٌ. فَقَالُوا: إِنْ شِئْتَ فَتَقَدَّمْ إِلَى الْمَاءِ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَأَقِمْ حَتَّى نَأْتِيَكَ بِهِ، قَالَ: فَإِنِّي لَنْ أَمْشِيَ فَمَضَى أَصْحَابُهُ فَاسْتَقَوْا وَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ بِإِدَاوَةٍ يَرْكُضُ بِهَا إِلَيْهِ , فَمَا وَصَلَ إِلَيْهِ حَتَّى مَاتَ وَأَكَلَتِ النُّسُورُ بَعْضَهُ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: أَحْرَقَ بَابَ عُثْمَانَ رِفَاعَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، وَدَخَلُوا عَلَى عُثْمَانَ مِنْ دَارِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ قَالَ: فَقَالَ الْأَحْوَصُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ: [البحر البسيط] لَا تَرْثِيَنَّ لِحَزْمِيٍّ رَأَيْتَ بِهِ ... ضُرًّا وَإِنْ سَقَطَ الْحَزْمِيُّ فِي النَّارِ النَّاخِسِينَ بِمَرْوَانٍ بِذِي خُشُبٍ ... وَالْمُقْحِمِينَ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ فِي الدَّارِ وَالزَّاعِمِينَ بِأَنْ لَسْتُمْ أَئِمَّتَهُمْ ... بِمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَنْ لَيْسُوا بِكُفَّارِحَدَّثَنَا. . . . . حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ مُحَارِبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ مَعَ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَوْمٌ أَرَادُوا أَنْ يَمْنَعُوهُ فَمَنَعَهُمْ، وَأَتَاهُ سِتُّمِائَةٍ لِيَمْنَعُوهُ فَأَبَى عَلَيْهِمْ , فَانْصَرَفُوا فَقَالَ [ص:1280] مَرْوَانُ: لَكِنِّي أَعْزِمُ عَلَى نَفْسِي أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ. فَقَاتَلَ مَعَهُ نَاسٌ فَقُتِلَ ابْنَا زَمْعَةَ , وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ , وَابْنُ أَبِي هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ عَوْفٍ مِنْ بَنِي السَّيَّاقِ، وَالْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ الْأَخْنَسِ بْنِ شَرِيقٍ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ - أَوْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ وَمَوْلًى لِعُثْمَانَ، وَجُرِحَ مَرْوَانُ , وَابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ , وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ الْعَاصِ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ ابْنُ هَرَمَةَ بَعْدُ: [البحر الوافر] إِذَا اقْتَرَبُوا لِبَابِ الدَّارِ يَسْعَى ... لَهُمْ مَرْوَانُ يَضْرِبُ أَوْ سَعِيدُ إِذَا مُدِحَ الْكَرِيمُ يَزِيدُ خَيْرًا ... وَإِنْ مُدِحَ اللَّئِيمُ فَلَا يَزِيدُ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، عَنْ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّاءَ الْعَجْلَانِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ قَالَ: كَانَ مَعَ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَأُمُّهُ بِنْتُ شَيْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الدَّهِينِ مِنْ بَنِي السَّيَّاقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الدَّارِ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَاطِبِ بْنِ أَبِي بَلْتَعَةَ، وَالْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ الْأَخْنَسِ، وَأَبُو أُسَيْدِ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ السَّاعِدِيُّ وَأَهْلُ دَارَيْنِ مِنَ الْأَوْسِ، بَنُو عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ، وَبَنُو حَارِثَةَ، فَقَالَ سَلَكَانُ بْنُ سَلَامَةَ بْنِ وَقْشٍ أَحَدُ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ: [البحر البسيط] دَارٌ أَرَىَ أَوْسَ أَعْلَاهَا وَأَسْفَلَهَا ... هُمُ الْجَهَاضِمَةُ الْأَزْدُونَ فِي الدِّينِ [ص:1281] وَكَانَ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ , وَابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَنْهَيَانِ عَنْ قَتْلِ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، وَكَانَتْ خُزَاعَةُ وَأَسْلَمُ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْيَقْظَانِ الْيَمَامِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: اشْتَرَانِي مَرْوَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ وَامْرَأَتِي وَوَلَدِي فَأَعْتَقَنَا، وَكُنْتُ مَعَهُ فِي الدَّارِ، وَرَمَيْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ فَوْقِ الْبَيْتِ فَقَتَلْتُهُ، وَنَشِبَ الْقِتَالُ، فَنَزَلَتُ وَقَدْ ضُرِبَ مَرْوَانُ حَتَّى سَقَطَ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ مِنَ الدَّارِ. فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُدَيْسٍ لِعُرْوَةَ بْنِ شُيَيْمٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ: قُمْ إِلَيْهِ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ وَقَدْ ضَرَبَهُ مَرْوَانُ عَلَى سَاقِهِ فَصُدِعَ، وَوَثَبَ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَفَّاعٍ الزُّرَقِيُّ إِلَى مَرْوَانَ لِيَقْتُلَهُ، فَقَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ جَدَّةُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ - أَوْ - أُمُّهُ , وَهِيَ أُمُّ مَرْوَانَ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ: مَا تُرِيدُ إِلَى لَحْمِهِ تَبْضَعُهُ إِنْ كُنْتَ تُرِيدُ قَتْلَهُ فَقَدْ قُتِلَ، فَاسْتَحَى فَمَضَى وَتَرَكَهُ. فَاسْتَعَمَلَ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ ابْنَهَا عَلَى الْيَمَامَةِ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ الَّذِيَ جَرَحَ مَرْوَانَ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ غَزِيَّةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: كَانَ اسْمَ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ: يَزِيدُ , فَلَمَّا صُرِعَ مَرْوَانُ يَوْمَ الدَّارِ أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْهِ، فَنَقَرَ أَبُو حَفْصَةَ أُنْثَيَيْهِ فَانْتَبَهَ، فَقَالَ: لِمَ فَعَلْتَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ: خِفْتُ أَنْ تَكُونَ قَدْ مِتَّ، وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا فُعِلَ هَذَا بِهِ وَفِيهِ حَيَاةٌ انْتَبَهَ. فَأَعْتَقَهُ مَرْوَانُ، وَحَمَلَهُ يَزِيدُ حَتَّى أَدْخَلَهُ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ [ص:1282]. . . . . . . مِنْهَا بِنْتٌ تُدْعَى حَفْصَةُ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: كَانَ يُقَالُ لِمَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ: خَيْطُ بَاطِلٍ، وَكَانَ ضُرِبَ يَوْمَ الدَّارِ عَلَى قَفَاهُ , فَقَالَ أَخُوهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ وَكَانَ يَذْكُرُ نِسَاءَهُ، وَكَانَ عِنْدَهُ أُمُّ أَبَانَ بِنْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ , وَقُطَيَّةُ بِنْتُ بِشْرٍ الْكِلَابِيَّةُ، وَلَيْلَى بِنْتُ زَيَّانِ ابْنِ الْأَصْبَغِ الْكَلْبِيَّةُ: [البحر الطويل] فَوَاللَّهِ مَا أَدْرِي وَإِنِّي لَسَائِلٌ ... حَلِيلَةَ مَضْرُوبِ الْقَفَا كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ لَحَا اللَّهُ قَوْمًا أَمَّرُوا خَيْطَ بَاطِلٍ ... عَلَى النَّاسِ يُعْطِي مَا يَشَاءُ وَيَمْنَعُ وَقَالَ لِنِسَائِهِ: قُطَيَّةُ كَالدِّينَارِ أُحْسِنَ نَقْشُهُ ... وَأُمُّ أَبَانٍ كَالشَّرَابِ الْمُبَرَّدِ وَلَيْلَى وَهَلْ فِي النَّاسِ أُنْثَى كَمَثْلِهَا ... إِذَا مَا اسْبَكَرَّتْ بَيْنَ دِرْعٍ وَمِجْسَدِ
