حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ كَانَ عَلَى صَنْعَاءَ كَانَ يُقَالُ لَهُ: ثُمَامَةُ، لَمَّا جَاءَ قَتْلُ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بَكَى وَأَطَالَ بُكَاهُ , ثُمَّ قَالَ: «الْيَوْمَ نُزِعَتْ خِلَافَةُ النُّبُوَّةِ مِنْ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَصَارَ مُلْكًا وَجَبْرِيَّةً، مَنْ غَلَبَ عَلَى شَيْءٍ أَكَلَهُ»

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ أَنَّ غُلَامًا لِعُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ يُقَالُ لَهُ [ص:1274]: ثُمَامَةُ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ قَتْلُ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: «الْيَوْمَ رُفِعَتْ خِلَافَةُ النُّبُوَّةِ، وَصَارَتِ الْخِلَافَةُ بِالسَّيْفِ، مَنْ غَلَبَ عَلَى شَيْءٍ أَكَلَهُ» . فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: مَا قِوَامُ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ؟ قَالَ: «الْمَعْرُوفُ مِنَ النَّاسِ. وَإِمَامٌ إِذَا حَكَمَ عَدَلَ، وَإِذَا قَدَرَ عَفَا، وَإِذَا غَضِبَ غَفَرَ»

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ يَقُولُ: «وَقَعَتِ الْفِتْنَةُ الْأُولَى - يَعْنِي فِتْنَةَ عُثْمَانَ - فَلَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ بَدْرٍ أَحَدٌ، ثُمَّ وَقَعَتِ الْفِتْنَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ - يَعْنِي فِتْنَةَ الْحِيرَةِ - فَلَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَحَدٌ، وَأَنَّى وَقَعَتِ الثَّالِثَةُ لَمْ تَرْتَفِعْ وَبِالنَّاسِ طُبَاخٌ» .

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، وَعَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: جَاءَ سَعْدٌ فَقَرَعَ الْبَابَ وَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: إِنَّ الْجِهَادَ مَعَكَ حَقٌّ. فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ عُثْمَانُ: «إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ عِنْدِي. . . وَاحِدٌ بِالصَّعِيدِ تُغْنِي عَنَّا قِيَامَ النَّاسِ، فَاخْرُجْ إِلَى النَّاسِ فَأَعْطِهِمْ عَلَيَّ الْحَقَّ، وَخُذْ لِي مِنْهُمُ الْحَقَّ» فَخَرَجَ. . . . . . وَحَوْلَهُ النَّاسُ. . . . فَجَعَلُوا يَقْرَعُونَهُ بِالرِّمَالِ حَتَّى سَقَطَ لِجَنْبِهِ وَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ: هَلُمَّ فَاقْتُلُونِي، فَلَقَدْ أَصَابَتْ أُمِّي اسْمِي إِذًا، إِذْ [ص:1275] سَمَّتْنِي سَعْدًا. وَأَقْبَلَ الْأَشْتَرُ فَنَهَاهُمْ، وَقَالَ: يَا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ اتَّخَذْتُمْ أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ بُدْنًا، وَخَرَجَ سَعْدٌ يَبْكِي وَيَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي فَرَرْتُ بِدِينِي مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، وَأَنَا أَفِرُّ بِهِ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ لَاحِقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ تَدْمُرَ وَهِيَ قَبِيلَةٌ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَسِيرُ بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ إِذَا أَنَا بِرَكْبٍ يَسِيرُونَ، بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ رَاكِبٌ فَدَنَوْتُ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا سَعْدَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ فَنَهَرْتُ دَابَّتِي فَدَنَوْتُ مِنْهُ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَقُلْتُ: مَاذَا صَنَعْتُمْ؟ قَالَ: «الْعَجَبُ، كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ بِهَا مَوْلِدِي وَدَارِي وَمَالِي، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ بِهَا حَتَّى بَعَثَ اللَّهُ نَبِيَّهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ وَآمَنْتُ بِهِ , فَمَكَثْتُ بِهَا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ أَمْكُثَ، ثُمَّ خَرَجْتُ مِنْهَا فِرَارًا بِدِينِي إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ , فَلَمْ أَزَلْ بِهَا حَتَّى جَمَعَ اللَّهُ لِي بِهَا أَهْلًا وَمَالًا، وَأَنَا الْيَوْمَ فَارٌّ بِدِينِي مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ كَمَا فَرَرْتُ بِدِينِي مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ»

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: قَامَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا , بَعْدَ مَا قُتِلَ عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , فَقَالَ لَهُمْ - يَعْنِي لِقَتَلَةِ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ -: «لَا مَرْحَبًا بِالْوُجُوهِ وَلَا أَهْلًا مَشَائِمَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ , مَنْ فَتَقَ فِيهَا الْمُفَتَّقَ الْعَظِيمَ، أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَوْلَا عَزْمَةُ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْنَا لَكَانَ الرَّأْيُ فِيكُمْ نَابِلًا»

حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْهُذَيْلُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَحَّافِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الرَّزَّازِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي الْحَمَّامِ وَرَجُلَيْنِ آخَرَيْنِ، وَعَلَى الْحَسَنِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ النُّورَةُ وَقَدْ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى الْحَائِطِ يَتَنَفَّسُ فَقَالَ: «لَعَنَ اللَّهُ قَتَلَةَ عُثْمَانَ» . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: أَمَا إِنَّهُمْ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا [ص:1277] قَتَلَهُ. فَقَالَ: «قَتَلَهُ مَنْ قَتَلَهُ، لَعَنَ اللَّهُ قَتَلَةَ عُثْمَانَ» ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: " أَنَا وَعُثْمَانُ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ كَمَا قَالَ اللَّهُ: {وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِمْ مِنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَى سُرَرٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ} [الحجر: 47] ".
