حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُکَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يُونُسَ بْنَ يُوسُفَ يَقُولُ عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ أَکْثَرَ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْتِقَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيهِ عَبْدًا مِنْ النَّارِ مِنْ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَدْنُو عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ثُمَّ يُبَاهِي بِهِمْ الْمَلَائِکَةَ فَيَقُولُ مَا أَرَادَ هَؤُلَائِ

It was narrated from Ibn Musayyab that Aishah said that Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: There is no day on which Allah ransoms more slaves from the slaves from the Fire than the Day of 'Arafah. He draws closer and closer, then He boasts about them before the angels and says: 'What do these people Want?''' (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ بُکَيْرِ بْنِ عَطَائٍ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَعْمَرَ الدِّيلِيَّ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ وَاقِفٌ بِعَرَفَةَ وَأَتَاهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ کَيْفَ الْحَجُّ قَالَ الْحَجُّ عَرَفَةُ فَمَنْ جَائَ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ لَيْلَةَ جَمْعٍ فَقَدْ تَمَّ حَجُّهُ أَيَّامُ مِنًی ثَلَاثَةٌ فَمَنْ تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ تَأَخَّرَ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ أَرْدَفَ رَجُلًا خَلْفَهُ فَجَعَلَ يُنَادِي بِهِنَّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ بُکَيْرِ بْنِ عَطَائٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْمَرَ الدِّيلِيِّ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَرَفَةَ فَجَائَهُ نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ فَذَکَرَ نَحْوَهُ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی مَا أُرَ لِلثَّوْرِيِّ حَدِيثًا أَشْرَفَ مِنْهُ

Sufyan bin Bukair bin 'Ata' said: "I heard' Abdur-Rahman bin Yamur Dili say: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H when he was standing at 'Arafat, and some people from Najd came to him and said: "0 Messenger of Allah, what is Hajj?" He said: "Hajj is 'Arafah. Whoever comes before Fajr prayer on the night of Jam', he has completed his Hajj. The days at Mina are three. 'But whosoever hastens to leave in two days, there is no sin on him and whosoever stays on, there is no sin on him.' Then he seated a man behind him on his mount and he started calling out these words."' (Sahih) Another chain with similar wording. Muhammad bin Yahya said: 'I have not been shown any Hadith reported by Thawri more noble than it (i.e., this one).

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ يَعْنِي الشَّعْبِيَّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ الطَّائِيِّ أَنَّهُ حَجَّ عَلَی عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يُدْرِکْ النَّاسَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ بِجَمْعٍ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَنْضَيْتُ رَاحِلَتِي وَأَتْعَبْتُ نَفْسِي وَاللَّهِ إِنْ تَرَکْتُ مِنْ حَبْلٍ إِلَّا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَهَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَنَا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَفَاضَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا فَقَدْ قَضَی تَفَثَهُ وَتَمَّ حَجُّهُ

It was narrated from 'Urwah bin Mudarris At-Ta'i that he performed Hajj during the time of the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H , and he did not catch up with the people until they were at Jam' (AIMuzdalifah). He said: "I came to the Prophet and said: '0 Messenger of Allah, I have made my camel lean (because of the long journey) and I have worn myself out. By Allah, there is no sand hill on which I did not stand. Have I performed Hajj?' The Prophet said: 'Whoever atended the prayer (i.e., Fajr at Muzdalifah) with us and departed from 'Arafat, by night or day, may remove the dirt and has Completed his Hajj.''' (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ کَيْفَ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسِيرُ حِينَ دَفَعَ مِنْ عَرَفَةَ قَالَ کَانَ يَسِيرُ الْعَنَقَ فَإِذَا وَجَدَ فَجْوَةً نَصَّ قَالَ وَکِيعٌ وَالنَّصُّ يَعْنِي فَوْقَ الْعَنَقِ

It was narrated from Usamah bin Zaid that he was asked: "How did the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H travel when he departed from' Arafat?" He said: "He moved at a quick pace, and when he reached an open space he would make his camel run." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَتْ قُرَيْشٌ نَحْنُ قَوَاطِنُ الْبَيْتِ لَا نُجَاوِزُ الْحَرَمَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ثُمَّ أَفِيضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ

It was narrated that Aishah said: "The Quraish said: 'We are the neighbors of the House and we do not leave the sanctuary.' Allah said: 'Then depart from the place whence all the people depart."' (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ کُرَيْبٍ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ أَفَضْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ الشِّعْبَ الَّذِي يَنْزِلُ عِنْدَهُ الْأُمَرَائُ نَزَلَ فَبَالَ فَتَوَضَّأَ قُلْتُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ أَمَامُکَ فَلَمَّا انْتَهَی إِلَی جَمْعٍ أَذَّنَ وَأَقَامَ ثُمَّ صَلَّی الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحِلَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْ النَّاسِ حَتَّی قَامَ فَصَلَّی الْعِشَائَ

It was narrated that Usamah bin Zaid said: "I departed from 'Arafat with the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H and when he reached the mountain path at which the chiefs would dismount, he dismounted and urinated, then performed ablution. I said: '(Is it time for) prayer?' He said: 'The prayer is still ahead of you.' When he reached Jam' (Muzdalifah) he called the Adhan and lqamah, then he prayed Maghrib. Then no one among the people unloaded (the camels) (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْخَطْمِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يَقُولُ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَائَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Yazid Al-Khatmi that he heard Abu Ayyub AI·Ansari say: "I prayed Maghrib and 'Isha' with the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H during the Farewell Pilgrimage, at Muzdalifah." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحْرِزُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْعَدَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّی الْمَغْرِبَ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَلَمَّا أَنَخْنَا قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ بِإِقَامَةٍ

It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah, from Salim, from his father, that the Prophet prayed Maghrib at Muzdalifah. When we halted he said: "Prayer should be done with Iqamah."(sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ حَجَجْنَا مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَلَمَّا أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نُفِيضَ مِنْ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمُشْرِکِينَ کَانُوا يَقُولُونَ أَشْرِقْ ثَبِيرُ کَيْمَا نُغِيرُ وَکَانُوا لَا يُفِيضُونَ حَتَّی تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَخَالَفَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَفَاضَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ

It was narrated that 'Aim bin Maimun said: "We performed Hajj with 'Umar bin Khattab, and when we wanted to depart from Muzdalifah, he said: 'The idolators used to say: "Mar, the sun rise over you, 0 Thabir! So that we may begin our journey (to Min )" and they did not depart fue sun had risen: So the Messenger of Allah differed from them by departing before the sun rose." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَائٍ الْمَکِّيُّ عَنْ الثَّوْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ جَابِرٌ أَفَاضَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّکِينَةُ وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالسَّکِينَةِ وَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَرْمُوا بِمِثْلِ حَصَی الْخَذْفِ وَأَوْضَعَ فِي وَادِي مُحَسِّرٍ وَقَالَ لِتَأْخُذْ أُمَّتِي نُسُکَهَا فَإِنِّي لَا أَدْرِي لَعَلِّي لَا أَلْقَاهُمْ بَعْدَ عَامِي هَذَا

The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H departed during the Farewel Pilgrimage in a tranquil manner, and he urged them to be tranquil. He told them to throw small pebbles. He hastened through Muhassir Valley, and said: 'Let my nation learn its rites (of Hajj), for I do not know, perhaps I will not meet them again after this year: (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْحِمْصِيِّ عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ غَدَاةَ جَمْعٍ يَا بِلَالُ أَسْکِتْ النَّاسَ أَوْ أَنْصِتْ النَّاسَ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَطَوَّلَ عَلَيْکُمْ فِي جَمْعِکُمْ هَذَا فَوَهَبَ مُسِيئَکُمْ لِمُحْسِنِکُمْ وَأَعْطَی مُحْسِنَکُمْ مَا سَأَلَ ادْفَعُوا بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ

It was narrated from Bilal bin Rabah that the Prophet said to him, on the morning of lama': "0 Bilal, calm the people down'" or "make them be quiet."Then he said: "Allah has been very gracious to you in this Jam' of yours. He has forgiven the wrongdoers among you because of the righteous among you, and He has given the righteous among you wha tever they ask. Move on in the Name of Allah." (Da'if)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ وَسُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ کُهَيْلٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ الْعُرَنِيِّ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَدِمْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُغَيْلِمَةَ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَلَی حُمُرَاتٍ لَنَا مِنْ جَمْعٍ فَجَعَلَ يَلْطَحُ أَفْخَاذَنَا وَيَقُولُ أُبَيْنِيَّ لَا تَرْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ حَتَّی تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ زَادَ سُفْيَانُ فِيهِ وَلَا إِخَالُ أَحَدًا يَرْمِيهَا حَتَّی تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "We youngsters from the clan of 'Abdul-Muttalib came to the Messenger of Allah ' , from jam on donkeys of ours. He started striking our thighs and saying: '0 my sons, do not stone the Pillar until the sun rises.' " (One of the narrators) Sufyan added: "I cannot imagine anyone stoning them until the sun rises." (Da'if)
