حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُالَّرحْمَنِ بْنُ َشْیَبَۃَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِيْ عَبْدُاللہِ بْنُ نَافَعِ الصَّانَعُ عَنْ عِصَامِ بْنِ زَیْدِ ۔ وَأَثنَی عَلَیْہِ ابْنُ شَیِبْۃَ خَیْرَا۔عَنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ المُکَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْداللہِ ؓ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَقِیَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَلَمَّا َرقَی الدَّرَجَۃَ اْلُٔا ْولَی قَالَ:(( آمَیْنَ)) ، ثُمَّ رَقَّی الثَّانِیَۃَ فَقَّالَ: ((آمَیْنَ)) ثُمَّ رَقَّی الثَّانِیَۃَ فَقَّالَ: ((آمَیْنَ۔فَقَالُْوا: یَارَسُوْلُ اللہِ! سَمَعْنَاکَ تَقُوْلُ: آمَیْنَ ثَلاثَ مَرَّاتِ ؟ قَالَ:(( لَمَّارَقَیْتُ الدَّرَجَۃَّ الُٔا وْلَی جَاءَ نَيْ جِبْریْلُ فَقَالَ: شَقِيَ عَبْد’‘ أَدْرَکَ رَمَضَانَ ، فَانْسَلَخَ مَنْہُ وَلَمْ یُغْفَرْ لَہُ فَقُلْتُ : آمَیْنَ ۔ثُمَّ قَالَ: شَقَيَ عَدْ ’‘ أَدْرَکَ وَالِدَیْہَ أَوْ أَحَدَھمُاَ فَلَمْ یُدْخِلَاہُ الْجَنَّۃَ، فَقَلْتُ: آمَیْنَ ۔ ثُمَّ قَالَ: شَقَيَ عَبْد’‘ ذُکِرْتَ عِدَہُ وَلَمْ یُصَلَّ عَلَیْکَ، فَقُلْتُ : آمَیْنَ))۔

Jabir ibn 'Abdullah reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went up the minbar. When he reached the first step, he said, "Amen". When he ascended to the second step, he said, "Amen," and when he stepped onto the third step, he said, "Amen." They said, "Messenger of Allah, we heard you say 'Amen' three times." He said, "When I went up the first step, Jibril, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came to me and said, 'Wretched is the slave to whom Ramadan comes and when it passes from him is not forgiven.' I said, 'Amen.' Then he said, 'Wretched is the slave who has one or both of his parents alive and they do not let him enter the Garden.' I said, 'Amen.' Then he said, 'Wretched is a slave who does not bless you when you are mentioned in his presence,' and I said, 'Amen.'"

حَدَّثَنَا اإِبْرَھِیْمُ بْنُ مُوْسیَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا اإِسْمَاعِیْلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَ نِي الْعَلَاءُ، عَنْ أَبَیْہِ، عَنْ أَبِيْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ ﷺ ،أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللہِﷺ قَالَ: ((مَن ْصَلَّي عَلَيَّ وَاحَدَۃً صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ عَشْرًا))۔

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If anyone prays once on me, Allah will pray ten times on him.'"

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَدِْاللہِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبْي َحازِمِ عَنْ کَثِیِر ابْنِ زَیْدَ ،عَنِ الْوَلْیِد ْبنِ َربَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ھُرَیْرَۃَ ؓ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَقَی الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ: ((آمَیْنَ، آمَیْنَ، آمَیْنَ)) ،قِیْلَ لَہُ: َیارَسُوْلَ اللہَ اِمَا کُنْتَ تَصْنَعُ ھَذَا؟ فَقَالَ: ((قَالَ لِيْ جَبْریْلُ : رَغَمَ أَنْفُ عَبْدٍ أَدْرَکَ أَبَوَ نْہِ۔أَوْ أَحَدَھمُاَ۔لَمْ یُدْخَلْہُ الْجَنَّہَ ،قُلْتُ: آمَیْنَ۔ثُمَّ قَالَ: رَغِمَ أَنْفُ عَبْد دَخَلَ عَلَیْہِ رَمَضَانُ لَمْ یُغْفَرْلَہُ فَقُلْتُ : آمَیْنَ ۔ ثُمَّ قَالَ: رَغِمَ أَنْفُ امْرِیً‘ ذُکَرْتَ عِنْدَہُ فَلَمْ یُصَلَّ عَلَیْکّ فَقُلْتُ : آمَیْنَ))

Similar to 644 except it has "Shame on" rather than "Wretched isÉ"

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْیَانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِالَّرحْمَنِ مَوْلَی آلَ طَلْحَۃُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ کُرَیْبَا أَبَا رِشْدِیْنَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسَ ؓ ،عَنْ جُوَیْرِیَۃّ بَنْتِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ضَرَارٍ ؓ، أَنَّ النَّبي ﷺ خَرَجَ مَنْ عَنْدِھَا۔وَکَانَ اسْمُھَابَرَّۃَ، فَحَوَّلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اسْمَھَا، فَسَمَّاھَا جُوَیْرِیَۃَ، فَخَرَجَ وَکَرِہَ أَنْ یَدْخُلَ وَاسْمُھَا بَرَّۃُ۔ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَیْھَا بَعْدَمَا تَعَالَی النَّھَارُ، وَھِيَ فِيْ مَجْلِسِھَا فَقَالَ: (( مَازَلْتِ فِيْ مَجْلِسِک؟ لَقَدْ قُلْتُ بَعْدَکِ أَرْبَعَ کَلِمَاتٍ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ لَوْ وُزَنَتْ بِکَلِمَا تِکِ وَزَنَتْھُنَّ: سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَبَحْمدِہِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِہِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِہِ ،وَزِنَہَ عَرْشِہِ وَمِدَادَ ۔أَوْ۔مَدَدَْ۔کَلِمَاتِہِ))

Juwayriyya, the daughter of al-Harith ibn Abi Dirar, (whose name had been Barra but the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had renamed her Juwayriyya) reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had left her and he did not want to go back in while her name was Barra. Then he went back to her while it was late in the day and found that she was still sitting. "Are you still sitting?" he asked, "After I left you I uttered four phrases three times. If they were to be weighed against all your words, they would outweigh them. They are: 'Glory be to Allah and by His praise in number as great as His creation and in accordance with His own pleasure and the weight of His Throne and the extent of His words.'"

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ سَلَّامٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُوْ مُعَاوِیُۃَ عَنِ اْلَٔا عْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِح، عَنْ أَبِيْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ ؒ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللہِ ﷺ:(( اسْتَعِیْذُوْا باِللہِ مِنْ جَھَنَّمَ، اسْتَعِیْذُ وْا بِاللہِ مَنْ عَذَابَ الُّقَبْرِ، اسُتَعِیْذُ وْا باِللہِ مَنْ فِتْنَۃِ الْمَسْیحِ الدَّجَّالَ اسْتَعِیْذُ وْا بِاللہِ مَنْ فِتْنَۃِ الْمْحَیْاَر وَالْمَمَاتِ))

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Seek refuge with Allah from Hellfire. Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave. Seek refuge with Allah from the sedition of the Dajjal. Seek refuge with Allah from the trials of life and death."

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِیْعِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ اإِدْرِیْسَ ،عَنْ لَیْتٍ، عَنْ مَحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثِارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللہِ ﷺ یُقُوْلُ: ((اللَّھَّمُ َّأَصْلِحْ لِيْ سَمْعِي وَبَصَرِیْ ،وَاجْعَلْھُمَا الْوَارِ ثَیْنِ مَنَّیُ، وَانُصُرْنِيْ عَلَی مَنْ ظَلَمَنِیْ، وَأَرِنِي ْمَنْہُ ثَاْرَيْ))

Jabir reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "O Allah, let my hearing and sight be sound and make them remain sound until I die. Turn away from me the one who wrongs me and give me revenge on him."

حَدَثَنَا مُوْسَی قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّاد’‘ ،عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو، عَنْ أَبِيْ سَلَمَۃَ ،عَنْ أَبَي ھُرَیْرَۃَ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ یَقُوْلُ: (اللُّھُمَّ مَتَّعُنِيْ بسِمَعَيْ وَبَصَرَیْ، وَاجْعَلْھُمَا الْوَارَثَ مَنَّیْ، وَانْصُرْنِي عَلَی عَدُوَّیْ، وَأَرِنِيْ مِنْہُ ثَارِيْ))

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, "O Allah, let me enjoy my sight and hearing and make them remain sound until I die. Turn away my enemy and grant me revenge on him."

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِاللہِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوَیَۃَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ طَارَقَ بْنِ أَسْیَمَ اْلَٔا شْجَعِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ؓ قَالَ: کُنَّا نَغْدُوْ اإِلَی النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَیَجِیْ ءُ الرَّجُلُ وَتَجِیْءُ الْمَرْأَہُ فَیَقُوْلُ : یَا َرسُوْلَ اللہِ !کَیْفَاأَقُوْلُ إِذَاصَلَّیْتُ؟ فَقَوُلُ:((قُلِ: اللُّھُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِی’، وَارْحَمْنیْ ،وَاھْدِنِیْ، وَارْزُقْنِیْ، فَقَدْ جَمَعَتْ لَکَ دُنْیَاکَ وَآخِر تَلَکَ))

Tariq ibn Ashyam al-Ashja'i said, "We used to go and visit the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. On one occasion a man and woman came and the man asked, 'Messenger of Allah, what should I say when I pray?' He replied, 'Say, "O Allah, forgive me, show mercy to me, guide me and provide for me.; They will combine this world and the Next world for you.'"

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَیْبُۃُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا اللَّیْتُ، عَنْ یَزِیْدَ بْنَ أَبِيْ حَبِیْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ مَوْلَی أُمْ قَیْسِ اْبَۃِ مِحْصَن، عَنْ أُمْ قَّیْسٍ ؓ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: ((مَا قَّالَتْ: طَالَ عُمْرُ ھَا؟))، وَلَا نَعْلَمُ امْرَأَۃً عُمُرَتْ مَا عَمْرَتْ

Umm Qays reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to her, "What she said will make her life long. They said, "We do not know of any woman who was given the long life that she was given."

حَدَّثَنَا عَارِم’‘ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعْیْدُ بْنُ زَیْدِ، عَنْ سِنَان قَّالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَنَس’‘ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ یَدْخُلُ عَلَیْینَا ۔أَھْلَ الٔبَیْتِ۔ فَدَخَلَ یَوْمَا فَدَعَالَنَا، فقَالَتْ ُٔامَّ سُلَیْمٍ ؓ خُوَیْدَمُکَ ،أَلا تَدْعُوْلَہُ؟قَالَ: ((اللَّھُمَّ ،أَکْثِرْ مَالَہُ وَوَلَدَہُ وَأَطِلْ حَیَاتَہُ وَاغْفِرْ لَہُ))۔فَدَ عَالِيْ بِشَلاثٍ، فَدَفَتْ ُمِا نَٔۃَ وَثَلاثَٔۃً،وَاإِنَّ ثَمَرَتِيْ لَتُطُعِمُ فِي السَّنَۃِ مَرَّ تَیْنِ، وَطَالَتْ حَیَاتِيْ حَتَّی اسْتَحْیْتُ مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَأَرْجُو الٔمَغُفِرَۃَ

Anas said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to come to us, the people of his house. One day he came to us and made supplication for us. Umm Sulaym said, 'Won't you make supplication for your little servant?' He said, 'O Allah, give him a lot of wealth and children. Make him live long and forgive him.'"He made supplication for me three times. I will be buried when I am 103. My fruits can be eaten twice in the year and I lived a long time until I was embarrassed in front of people, and I hope for forgiveness."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْیَمَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعَیْب’‘، عَنْ الزُّھْرِيَّ قَالَ: َٔاخْبَرَنِي أُبْو عُبَیْدٍ مَوْلَی عَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِ۔وَکَانَ مِنَ الْقُرَّاءِ وَأَھْلِ الْفِقْہِ۔أَنَّہُ سَمِعَ أَبَا ھُرَ یْرَۃَؓ ، أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللہِ ﷺ قَالَ: ((یُسْتَحَابُ لِأَ حَدَکُمْ مَالَمْ یَعْجَلْ یَقُوْلُ: دَعَوْتُ فَلَمْ یُسْتَجَبْ لِيْ))

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The supplication of any of you is answered as long as he does not get impatient and say, 'I made supplication and was not answered.'"

أَبَا ھُرَ یْرَۃَؓ ← أُبْو عُبَیْدٍ مَوْلَی عَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِ۔وَکَانَ مِنَ الْقُرَّاءِ وَأَھْلِ الْفِقْہِ۔أَنَّہُ ← الزُّهْرِيِّ، ← شُعَيْبٌ ← أبو اليمان

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُاللہِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِیَۃُ ،أَنَّ رَبِیْعَۃَ بْنَ یَزِیْدَ حَدَّثَہُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدَرِیْسَ ،عَنْ أَبِيْ ھُرَیْرَۃَؓ ،عَنِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: ((یُسْتَجَابُ لِأَ حَدِکُمْ مَالَمْ یَدعُ بِاثْمٍ أَوْ قَطِیْعَۃِ رَحِمٍ، أَوْ یَسَتْعَجْلِ ْفَیَقُوْل:ُ دَعَوْتُ فَلَا أَرَی یَسْتَجِیْبُ لِیْ فَیَدَع ُالدُّعَاءَ))

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The supplication of any of you is answered as long as he does not make supplication for something which is a wrong action or cutting off ties of kinship or become impatient and say, 'I made supplication and was not answered,' and so he stops making supplication.'"
