حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النَّذْرِ وَقَالَ إِنَّهُ لَا يَرُدُّ مِنْ الْقَدَرِ شَيْئًا وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنْ الْبَخِيلِ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) told us not to make vows, and he said: "They do not avert anything of the divine decree, all they do is get something out of a stingy person"

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَمَ يَهُودِيًّا وَيَهُودِيَّةً بِالْبَلَاطِ

It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) stoned a Jewish man and women (for adultery) in al-Balaat (a place at the gate of the mosque in Madinah).

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ رَزِينٍ الْأَحْمَرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ تَزَوَّجَهَا رَجُلٌ فَأَغْلَقَ الْبَابَ وَأَرْخَى السِّتْرَ وَنَزَعَ الْخِمَارَ ثُمَّ طَلَّقَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا تَحِلُّ لِزَوْجِهَا الْأَوَّلِ فَقَالَ لَا حَتَّى يَذُوقَ عُسَيْلَتَهَا

It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the prophet (PBUH) was asked about a man who divorces his wife three times, then another man marries her, doses the door and let the curtain drop, and takes off her head cover, then he divorces her before consummating the marriage with her. Does she become permissible for the first (husband)? He said: "No, not until he (the second husband) tastes her sweetness."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ فَارَقَ امْرَأَتَهُ بِثَلَاثٍ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا اسْتَفْتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ وَلَا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي السُّجُودِ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to raise his hands when he started to pray, when he wanted to bow, and when he lifted his head from bowing, and he did not do that when he wanted to prostrate.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ لَسْتُ بِآكِلِهِ وَلَا مُحَرِّمِهِ

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar: I heard Ibn 'Umar say: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was asked about lizard (meat). He said: "I do not eat it and I do not prohibit it."

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَدَعَا رَجُلًا آخَرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ اسْتَرْخِيَا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَنْتَجِيَ اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ

It was narrated that ibn Dinar said: I was with lbn 'Umar, myself and another man. He called another mart, then he said: Now move away a little, because the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) forbade two to converse privately to the exclusion of one.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَشُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كُنَّا إِذَا بَايَعْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى السَّمْعِ يُلَقِّنُنَا أَوْ يُلَقِّفُنَا فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتَ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: We used to swear allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) pledging to hear and obey, and lie would prompt us to say "As much as you are able to."

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فَقَالَ تَحَرَّوْهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ

It was narrated from Abdullah ibn Dinar: I heard Ibn Umar say: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was asked about Laylat al-Qadr and he said: "Seek it in the last seven (nights).”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَّقِي كَثِيرًا مِنْ الْكَلَامِ وَالِانْبِسَاطِ إِلَى نِسَائِنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ فِينَا الْقُرْآنُ فَلَمَّا مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَكَلَّمْنَا

It was narrated that lbn Umar said: We used to be guarded in our speech even with our wives at the time of the messenger of Allah (PBUH) faring that Qur'an might be revealed concerning us, but when the messenger of Allah (PBUH) died, we again to speak more freely.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ بِلَالًا يُنَادِي بِلَيْلٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُنَادِيَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Bilaal gives the call to prayer when it still night, so eat and drink until you hear the call of Ibn Umm Maktoom."

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْأَنْفَالِ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) divided the spoils of war two shares for the horse and one share for the man.
