Musnad Imam Ahmad Bin Hanble

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَيْتُ جِبْرِيلَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَهُ سِتُّ مِائَةِ جَنَاحٍ يَنْتَثِرُ مِنْ رِيشِهِ التَّهَاوِيلُ الدُّرُّ وَالْيَاقُوتُ

It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ood that he said concerning The verse, "For indeed he saw him at a second descent. Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass" [an-Najm:l3, 14j: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said. i saw Jibreel, with six hundred wings; there fell from his feathers things of different colours, pearls and rubies.”

ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى ← زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ ← عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، ← حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ← حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَی

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ مِنْهُ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ حَدِيثِ عَلْقَمَةَ فَهُوَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ أَتَى أَبَا مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ فَحَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى تَقَدَّمْ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَإِنَّكَ أَقْدَمُ سِنًّا وَأَعْلَمُ قَالَ لَا بَلْ تَقَدَّمْ أَنْتَ فَإِنَّمَا أَتَيْنَاكَ فِي مَنْزِلِكَ وَمَسْجِدِكَ فَأَنْتَ أَحَقُّ قَالَ فَتَقَدَّمَ أَبُو مُوسَى فَخَلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا أَرَدْتَ إِلَى خَلْعِهِمَا أَبِالْوَادِي الْمُقَدَّسِ أَنْتَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالنَّعْلَيْنِ

It was narrated from 'Alqamah that 'Abdullah ibn Mas' ood came to Abu Moosa al-Ash'ari in his house, and the time for prayer came. Abu Moosa said: Go forward (and lead us in prayer), O Abu 'Abd ar-Rahmaan, for you are older and more knowledgeable. He said: No; rather you should go for ward (and lead us in prayer), for we have come to your house and your place of worship, so you are more deserving (of leading the prayer). So Abu Moosa went forward and took off his shoes, then when he had said the salaam, he said: Why did you take off your shoes? Are you in the sacred valley? I saw the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) pray wearing khufoof (leather slippers) and shoes.

عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ مِنْهُ، وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ، ← أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ← زُهَيْرٍ ← حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَی

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْ الْجُمُعَةِ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أُحَرِّقَ عَلَى رِجَالٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْ الْجُمُعَةِ بُيُوتَهُمْ

It was narrated from 'Abd-Allah that the Prophet (PBUH) said concerning some people who stayed away from Friday prayer. "I was thinking of ordering a man to lead the people in prayer, then I would burn down the houses of men who stay away from Friday prayer with the inside."

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَجَّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَأَمَرَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ أَنْ أَلْزَمَهُ فَلَزِمْتُهُ فَكُنْتُ مَعَهُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ قَالَ أَقِمْ فَقُلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَّ هَذِهِ لَسَاعَةٌ مَا رَأَيْتُكَ صَلَّيْتَ فِيهَا قَالَ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي هَذِهِ السَّاعَةَ إِلَّا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِنْ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ هُمَا صَلَاتَانِ تُحَوَّلَانِ عَنْ وَقْتَيْهِمَا صَلَاةُ الْمَغْرِبِ بَعْدَ مَا يَأْتِي النَّاسُ الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ وَصَلَاةُ الْغَدَاةِ حِينَ يَبْزُغُ الْفَجْرُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ

Abu lshaaq said: i heard Abd ar-Rahmaan ibn Yazeed say. 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ood performed and 'Alqamah told me to stay dose to him, so I stayed with him – and he narrate d the hadeeth. When dawn broke, he said: Give the iqaamah (call immediately preceding the prayer). I said: O Abu 'Abd ar- rehman this is a time at which I have never seen you pray. He said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) did not pray at this time except this prayer in this place on this day. 'Abdullah said: There are two prayers that I changed from their usual time: Maghrib prayer after the people come to Muzdalifah, and Fajr prayer as soon as dawn appears. He said: and I saw the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) do that.

الْحَدِيثَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ ← حَجَّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَأَمَرَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ أَنْ أَلْزَمَهُ فَلَزِمْتُهُ فَكُنْتُ مَعَهُ ← عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ ← اَبُوْ اِسْحَاقِ ← زُهَيْرٍ ← حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَی

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُدَيْجًا أَخَا زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ وَنَحْنُ نَحْوٌ مِنْ ثَمَانِينَ رَجُلًا فِيهِمْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَجَعْفَرٌ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُرْفُطَةَ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَظْعُونٍ وَأَبُو مُوسَى فَأَتَوْا النَّجَاشِيَّ وَبَعَثَتْ قُرَيْشٌ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ وَعُمَارَةَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ بِهَدِيَّةٍ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَا عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ سَجَدَا لَهُ ثُمَّ ابْتَدَرَاهُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَا لَهُ إِنَّ نَفَرًا مِنْ بَنِي عَمِّنَا نَزَلُوا أَرْضَكَ وَرَغِبُوا عَنَّا وَعَنْ مِلَّتِنَا قَالَ فَأَيْنَ هُمْ قَالَ هُمْ فِي أَرْضِكَ فَابْعَثْ إِلَيْهِمْ فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ جَعْفَرٌ أَنَا خَطِيبُكُمْ الْيَوْمَ فَاتَّبَعُوهُ فَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يَسْجُدْ فَقَالُوا لَهُ مَا لَكَ لَا تَسْجُدُ لِلْمَلِكِ قَالَ إِنَّا لَا نَسْجُدُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ وَمَا ذَاكَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بَعَثَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولَهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ لَا نَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَأَمَرَنَا بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ فَإِنَّهُمْ يُخَالِفُونَكَ فِي عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ قَالَ مَا تَقُولُونَ فِي عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمِّهِ قَالُوا نَقُولُ كَمَا قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هُوَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ وَرُوحُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى الْعَذْرَاءِ الْبَتُولِ الَّتِي لَمْ يَمَسَّهَا بَشَرٌ وَلَمْ يَفْرِضْهَا وَلَدٌ قَالَ فَرَفَعَ عُودًا مِنْ الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْحَبَشَةِ وَالْقِسِّيسِينَ وَالرُّهْبَانِ وَاللَّهِ مَا يَزِيدُونَ عَلَى الَّذِي نَقُولُ فِيهِ مَا يَسْوَى هَذَا مَرْحَبًا بِكُمْ وَبِمَنْ جِئْتُمْ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهُ الَّذِي نَجِدُ فِي الْإِنْجِيلِ وَإِنَّهُ الرَّسُولُ الَّذِي بَشَّرَ بِهِ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ انْزِلُوا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ وَاللَّهِ لَوْلَا مَا أَنَا فِيهِ مِنْ الْمُلْكِ لَأَتَيْتُهُ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَنَا أَحْمِلُ نَعْلَيْهِ وَأُوَضِّئُهُ وَأَمَرَ بِهَدِيَّةِ الْآخَرِينَ فَرُدَّتْ إِلَيْهِمَا ثُمَّ تَعَجَّلَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ حَتَّى أَدْرَكَ بَدْرًا وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُ حِينَ بَلَغَهُ مَوْتُهُ

It was narrated that Ibn Mas'ood said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) sent me to the Negus, and we were approximately eighty men, among whom were Abdullah ibn Mas'ood, Ja'far, Abdullah ibn 'Urfutah, 'Uthmaan Ibn Maz'oon and Abu Moosa, who came to the Negus. Then Quraysh sent 'Amr ibn al-'Aas and Umaarah ibn al-Waleed with gift. When they entered upon the Negus they prostrated to him, then they hastened towards him from his right and from his left and said to him: Some of our cousins have come to your land; they have abandoned us and our religion. He said: Where are they? They said: They are in your land; send for them. So he sent for them and Jafar said (to the other Muslims): i will be your spokesman today - so they followed him. He greeted (the Negus) but did not prostrate, and they said to him: Why dorit you prostrate to the king? He said We do not prostrate to anyone except Allah, may He be glorified and exalted. He said: Why is that? [ja'far] said: Because Allah (PBUH) has sent to us His Messenger, and he instructed us not to prostrate to anyone except Allah (PBUH), and he instructed us to pray and to give zakaah. 'Amr ibn al-' Aas said: They differ with you concerning 'Eesa ibn Maryam. He said: What do you say concerning 'Eesa ibn Maryam and his mother? They said: We said as Allah (PBUH) said: he is the Word of Allah and the Spirit created by Him that He bestowed upon the virgin whom no man has touched (The Negus) picked up a stick from the ground, then he said: O Abyssinians, O priests and monks, by Allah he did not add to what we say about him even as much as this (stick). Welcome to you aud to the one from whom you have come. I bear witness that lie is the Messenger of Allah and he is the one whom we find in the Gospel; he is the Messenger who was foretold by 'Eesa ibn Maryam. Stay wherever you want for by Allah, were it not that i am preoccupied with the responsibilities of kingship, I would go to him so that I might carry his shoes and bring him water for his ablutions. Then he ordered that the gifts of the others be returned to them. Then 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ood hastened (back to the Hijaz) and Was among those who were present at Badr; and he said that the Prophet (PBUH) prayed for forgiveness for him (the Negus) when news Of his death reached him.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ الْأَسْوَدَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ وَهُوَ يُعَلِّمُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ كَيْفَ نَقْرَأُ هَذَا الْحَرْفَ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ أَذَالٌ أَمْ دَالٌ فَقَالَ لَا بَلْ دَالٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَؤُهَا مُدَّكِرٍ دَالًا

Abu Ishaaq said; I saw a man asking al-Aswad ibn Yazeed, when he was teaching Qur'an in the mosque: How do you recite this verse - "fahal min muddakir (Then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition))?" [al-Qamar 54:15 etc] - with a daal or a dhaal? He said: With a daal. I heard 'Abd-Allah ibn Mas'ood say: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: Muddakir' with a daal.

رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقْرَؤُهَا مُدَّكِرٍ دَالًا ← عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ← لَا بَلْ دَالٌ ثُمَّ ← كَيْفَ نَقْرَأُ هَذَا الْحَرْفَ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ أَذَالٌ أَمْ دَالٌ ← رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ الْأَسْوَدَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ وَهُوَ يُعَلِّمُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ← اَبُوْ اِسْحَاقِ ← زُهَيْرٍ ← أَبُو کَامِلٍ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ يَعْنِي الْمَخْرَمِيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيٌّ قَطُّ إِلَّا وَلَهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ حَوَارِيٌّ وَأَصْحَابٌ يَتَّبِعُونَ أَثَرَهُ وَيَقْتَدُونَ بِهَدْيِهِ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ خَوَالِفُ أُمَرَاءُ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا لَا يُؤْمَرُونَ

It was narrated that Abu Raafi' said: Ibn Masood told me that the Messenger ot Allah (PBUH) said: "There is no prophet whom Allah sent to any nation before me, but lie had disciples ant companions who followed his path and obeyed his commands. Then after them came rulers who said what they did not do and did what they were not commanded to do.

ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ← أَبِي رَافِعٍ ← عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، ← جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، ← الْحَارِثِ بْنِ فُضَيْلٍ ← عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، يَعْنِي الْمَخْرَمِيَّ، ← أَبُو سَعِيدٍ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ عَنْ هُزَيْلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمَوْصُولَةَ وَالْمُحِلَّ وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمَوْشُومَةَ وَآكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُطْعِمَهُ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) cursed the woman who does hair extensions and the woman who has them done, and the muhill and the muhallal lahu [1], and the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has them done, and the one who consumes riba and the one who pays it."

عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ← هُزَيْلٍ ← أَبِي قَيْسٍ، ← سُفْيَانَ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ،

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْغَارِ فَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا فَقَرَأْتُهَا قَرِيبًا مِمَّا أَقْرَأَنِي غَيْرَ أَنِّي لَسْتُ أَدْرِي بِأَيِّ الْآيَتَيْنِ خَتَمَ

It was narrated that lbn Mas'ood said: I was with the Prophet (PBUH) in the cave and "By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another" [al-Mursalat 77] was revealed to him. I recited it very similar to the way he taught me, but I do not know with which of the two verses he ended it. [1]

ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ← اَبِیْ رَزَینٍ ← الْاَعْمَشِ ← عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ← عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ النَّجْمِ فَسَجَدَ وَمَا بَقِيَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ إِلَّا سَجَدَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا رَفَعَ كَفًّا مِنْ حَصًى فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ وَقَالَ يَكْفِينِي هَذَا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ قُتِلَ كَافِرًا

It was narrated from 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) recited Soorat an-Najm and prostrated, and there was no one among the people who did not prostrate, except for a man who lifted up a handful of pebbles and placed it on his face, and he said: This is sufficient for me. 'Abdullah said: Later on, I saw him slain as a kaafir.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَلِمَةً وَأَنَا أَقُولُ أُخْرَى مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَجْعَلُ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ النَّارَ و قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَأَنَا أَقُولُ مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ لَا يَجْعَلُ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said one thing and I say another. "Whoever dies ascribing a rival to Allah, Allah will admit him to Hell.” And I say: Whoever dies not ascribing a rival to Allah, Allah will admit him to Paradise.

عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ← أَبِي وَائِلٍ ← سُلَیْمَانَ ← شُعْبَةُ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يَحْزُنُهُ وَلَا تُبَاشِرُ الْمَرْأَةُ الْمَرْأَةَ ثُمَّ تَنْعَتُهَا لِزَوْجِهَا حَتَّى كَأَنَّهُ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا

It was narrated from Abdullah that the Prophet (PBUH) said if you are three, two should not converse (privately) to the exclusion of their companion, because that makes him sad. No woman should look at another one so that she can then describe her to her husband (in such detail) that it is as if he is looking at her."
