Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
«مَاتَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَسِتِّينَ»
الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ،
لَهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، وَابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، وَأَنَّ حَمَّادَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ حَفِظَ
«مَاتَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي أَوْفَى سَنَةَ سَبْعٍ أَوْ ثَمَانٍ وَثَمَانِينَ»

مات سلمة في سنة إحدى وعشرين في آخرها يوما
مات زبيد سنة اثنتين وعشرين
مات قيس بن مسلم في سنة عشرين ومائة
