Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الذَّنْبِ أَعْظَمُ؟،
أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ اللَّهُمَّ مَتِّعْنِي بِزَوْجِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ: اللَّهُمَّ أَمْتِعْنِي بِزَوْجِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ فِي حَرْثٍ بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَى عَسِيبٍ
مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ
سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ أَيُّ الذَّنْبِ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللهِ؟

جاء حبر من اليهود إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ فِي حَرْثٍ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَمَرَّ عَلَى قَوْمٍ مِنْ الْيَهُودِ
بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ وَلَيْسَ مَعَنا مَاءٌ
أَبِي شُعْبَةُ رَفَعَهُ
كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ فِي مَسْجِدِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ،
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ يُكْثِرُ حِينَ نَزَلَتْ: أَنْ
أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ ابْنَةُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ: اللَّهُمَّ أَمْتِعْنِي بِزَوْجِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
انتهيت إلى النبي وهو في قُبّة حميراء،
أَتَى النَّبِيَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ
كانَ النبيُّ يُصلِّي، فإِذا سجدَ وثَبَ الحسنُ والحسينُ على ظهرِهِ، فإِذا أَرادوا
مَرَّ يَهُودِيٌّ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ
"يجمع الله الناس يوم القيامة،
«لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ الْوَاشِمَاتِ، وَالْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ، وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَاتِ، وَالْمُغَيِّرَاتِ خَلْقَ اللهِ» خَالَفَهُ حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ رَوَاهُ
إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ
قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ قَسْمًا
رَجُلًا يَقْرَأُ حم الثَّلَاثِينَ يَعْنِي الْأَحْقَافَ فَقَرَأَ حَرْفًا وَقَرَأَ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ حَرْفًا لَمْ يَقْرَأْهُ صَاحِبُهُ
صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَاةً لَا أَدْرِي زَادَ أَمْ نَقَصَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَائِلُ لَا يَدْرِي عَلْقَمَةُ
لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ
كُنَّا نُسَلِّمُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ
لَقَدْ
«لِأَنْ أَحْلِفُ تِسْعًا
انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ وَنَحْنُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ بِمِنًي حَتَّى ذَهَبَتْ فِرْقَةٌ مِنْهُ خَلْفَ الْجَبَلِ
