قِيلَ لِدَاوُدَ الطَّائِيِّ: لِمَ لَا تُسَرِّحُ لِحْيَتَكَ؟
هُرْمُزُ بْنُ حَوْرَانَ،
مُنَخَّلِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ،
الأَوْزَاعِيُّ: سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ مِنْ أَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.
مَا كَذَبْتُ قَطُّ إِلَّا مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً؛ فَإِنَّ أَبِي
يعقوب: وحدثنيه إبراهيم بن هاشم،
كان أبو يوسف قد اطلع الفقه أو العلم إطلاعاً يتناوله كيف شاء.
