Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
أَمَا إِنِّي
حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَرْحَلُ مِنْ مِصْرَ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ،
«تَفَجَّرُ أَنْهَارُ الْجَنَّةِ»

ثُمَّ جَعَلْتُ لَهُمْ سِلْقًا وَشَعِيرًا
اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللهُ أَكْبَرُ مَرَّتَيْنِ قَطْ،
ثُمَّ جَعَلْتُ لَهُمْ {ص:605} سِلْقًا وَشَعِيرًا.
حين يطيب أول التمر
فتحثين فيمن يحثو قلن لا ولم يذكر الغسل
ولا يرى عليه أثر السفر
