Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
لأَبِي بَكْرٍ: مَتَى تُوتِرُ؟
أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ تَزَوَّجَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ أَوْ
مثلي ومثل الأنبياء كمثل رجل أوقد نارا فجعل الفراش والجنادب يقعن فيها
لا وصال في الصوم
لَقَدْ همَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ صَارخًا يَصْرُخُ بِالصَّلاةِ، ثُمَّ أَتَخَلَّفُ عَلَى رِجالٍ يَتخَلَّفُونَ
إذا جاء أحدكم وقد خرج الإمام فليصل ركعتين
لا تسلموا تسليم اليهود والنصارى فإن تسليمهم بالأكف والرؤوس والإشارة
من باع ثمرا فأصابه جائحة فلا يأخذ من أخيه
أيما رجل أعمر رجلا عمرى له ولعقبه
من ترك الجمعة ثلاثا من غير ضرورة طبع الله على قلبه
((من حلف على منبري هذا بيمينٍ آثمةٍ، تبوأ مقعده من النار)).(1/341)
