He learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ and from senior companions, and in turn became the teacher of hundreds of Tabi'un — the generation whose preservation of his narrations forms the backbone of the major Hadith collections.

Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
لاَ يَجُوزُ لاِمْرَأَةٍ عَطِيَّةٌ إلاَّ بِإِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا.
تُؤْخَذُ صَدَقَاتُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عِنْدَ مِيَاهِهِمْ أَوْ عِنْدَ أَفْنِيَتِهِمْ شَكَّ أَبُو دَاوُدَ.
قَفْلَةٌ کَغَزْوَةٍ
«المقتولُ دونَ مالِهِ شهيدٌ»
للغازي أجره وللجاعل أجره وأجر الغازي
لعنة الله على الراشي والمرتشي
"من ذَبح عُصْفُورا أو قَتَله في غير شيء"،
"انْكحوا أُمَّهات الأولاد، فإني أباهي بهم يوم القيامة".
"رَباط يومٍ خير من صيامِ شهرٍ وقيامه".
"إن أكبر الكبائر عُقُوقُ الوالديْن"،
"من أخرج صدقةً فلم يَجِدْ إلا بَرْبَرِيًا، فْليَردَّها".
"مَنْ كَتَمَ عِلْماً ألْجَمَهُ الله بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ"
«مَنْ قُتِلَ عَلَى مَالِهِ فَهُو شَهِيدٌ»
«فِي الْمَوَاضِحِ خَمْسٌ»
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَرُزِقَ كَفَافًا وَقَنَّعَهُ اللَّهُ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.(4/153)
من قتل عصفوراً فما فوقها بغير حقها سأله الله عز وجل
(صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ {ص:46} صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ)
لاَ تَتَمَنَّوْا لِقَاءَ الْعَدُوِّ وَاسألُوا اللهَ الْعَافِيَةَ, فَإِنْ لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَاثْبُتُوا وَأَكْثِرُوا
ليس الواصل بالمكافىء ولكن الواصل من إذا قطعت رحمه وصلها
فَتَّانَ الْقُبُورِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَتُرَدُّ إِلَيْنَا عُقُولُنَا
"إنَّ في الجنَّة غُرفةً يُرى ظاهِرُها مِنْ باطِنها، وباطِنُها مِنْ ظاهِرها".
"الصيام والقرآن يشفعان للعَبد يوم القيامة،
«أَتَدْرُونَ مَا المُسْلِمُ؟!»
