Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
أَعْرَابِيٌّ:
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
رَجُلٌ:
لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ رِجَالٌ يَجْتَهِدُونَ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ اجْتِهَادًا شَدِيدًا
لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ رِجَالٌ يَنْصَبُونَ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ نَصَبًا شَدِيدًا
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ
رسول اللَّه الأوعية: الدبَّاءَ، والحَنتم، والمزفتَ، والنقير،
النَّبِيِّ
عَبْدِ اللہِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ «لَقَدْ {ص:452}
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ اقْرَأْ الْقُرْآنَ فِي شَهْرٍ
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ
النَّبِيِّ [ص:111]،
لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ «صُمْ يَوْمًا مِنْ أَوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ وَلَكَ أَجْرُ مَا بَقِيَ»
لي رسول الله -طمس، فذكر مثله.
{خ: 315/ب} رسولُ الله «إِنَّ اللهَ لاَ يَقْبِضُ العِلْمَ فذكر نحوه.
لي رسولُ الله «أَلَمْ أُخْبَرْ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ وتَصُومُ النَّهَارَ؟» قلتُ: بلى
لي رسولُ الله «اقْرَأِ القُرْآنَ في شَهْرٍ» قلتُ:
الرَّجُلُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ، ثُمَّ يَسْكُتُ، فَإِذَا
لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ وَسَاقَ الحَدِيثَ _حاشية(4/421)

لِي مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ فَقُلْتُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ
{ص:70} رسولَ اللهِ تلا هذه الآيةَ: {يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ "أَلَمْ أُخْبَرْ أَنَّكَ تَصُومُ النَّهَارَ وَتَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ؟ قُلْتُ: بَلَى
نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ
