حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَتَی النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ کَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ قَالَ حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيکَ وَاعْتَمِرْ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 2906
It was narrated from Abu Razin AI-'Uqaili that he came to the Prophet P.B.U.H and said: "0 Messenger of Allah, my father is an old man and he cannot perform Hajj or 'Umrah, and he is not able to ride the mount (due to old age)." He said: "Perform Hajj and 'Umrah on behalf of your father." (Sahih)
