أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَتَادَةُ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ هَذِهِ وَهَذِهِ سَوَائٌ يَعْنِي الْخِنْصَرَ وَالْإِبْهَامَ

It was narrated from Ibu ‘Abbas that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “This and this are the same,” meaning the little finger and the thumb. (Sahih)
