أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَائِ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ زَهْدَمٍ قَالَ انْتَهَی قَوْمٌ مِنْ بَنِي ثَعْلَبَةَ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَؤُلَائِ بَنُو ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ يَرْبُوعٍ قَتَلُوا فُلَانًا رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَجْنِي نَفْسٌ عَلَی أُخْرَی
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4849
It was narrated that Tha’labah bin Zahdam said: “Some people from Banu Tha’labah came to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, when he was delivering a speech and a man said: ‘Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, these are Banu Tha’labah bin Yarbu’ who killed so and so’ — one of the Companions of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلمThe Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘No soul is affected by the sin of another.” (Sahih)
