حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَی عَنْ الْحَجَّاجِ الصَّوَّافِ عَنْ يَحْيَی عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَضَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمُکَاتَبِ يُودَی بِقَدْرِ مَا أَدَّی مِنْ مُکَاتَبَتِهِ دِيَةَ الْحُرِّ وَمَا بَقِيَ دِيَةَ الْعَبْدِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4825
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ruled that in the case of a Mukatab, the Diyah should be (equivalent) to the Diyah for a free man, proportionate to the amount he had paid off (towards buying his freedom).” (Da’if)
