أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ عَنْ يَحْيَی عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَضَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمُکَاتَبِ يُقْتَلُ بِدِيَةِ الْحُرِّ عَلَی قَدْرِ مَا أَدَّی
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4823
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ruled that the Diyah for a Mukatab who is killed should be (equivalent) to the Diyah for a free man, proportionate to the amount he had paid off (toward buying his freedom).” (Da’if)
