حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4140
It was narrated that 'Abdullah (RA) said: After the verse "So glorify the Praises of Your Lord, and ask His forgiveness. Verily, He is the One Who accepts the repentance and who forgives." [an-Nasr 110:1] was revealed Abdur Razzaq said when it was revealed [When there comes the Help of Allah (to you, O Muhammad against your enemies) and the conquest (of Makkah)], the Prophet (PBUH) would often say: "Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. O Allah, forgive me, for You are the Acceptor of repentance."
