حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَيَزِيدُ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مَالًا فَسَلَّطَهُ عَلَى هَلَكَتِهِ فِي الْحَقِّ وَآخَرُ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ حِكْمَةً فَهُوَ يَقْضِي بِهَا وَيُعَلِّمُهَا
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4109
It was narrated that 'Abdullah (RA) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: “There is no cause for envy except m two cases: a man to whom Allah gives wealth and enables him to spend it appropriately, and a man to whom Allah gives w r isdom and he rules in accordance with it and teaches it to the people."
