حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي جَامِعُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ اسْتَبْطَنَ الْوَادِيَ فَجَعَلَ الْجَمْرَةَ عَنْ حَاجِبِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ وَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْبَيْتَ ثُمَّ رَمَاهَا بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ يُكَبِّرُ دُبُرَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَذَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ مَقَامُ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ

'A bdur - Rahman bin Yazeed said: I saw' 'Abdullah go to the bottom of the valley; he put the Jam rah on his right and turned to face the i louse, then he stoned it with seven pebbles, saying lakbecr after each throw. Then he said: This, by the One besides Whom there is no other God, is the place where the one to whom Sooratal- Baqarah was revealed stood.
