حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَمَّا أُسْرِيَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ انْتُهِيَ بِهِ إِلَى سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى وَهِيَ فِي السَّمَاءِ السَّادِسَةِ وَإِلَيْهَا يَنْتَهِي مَا يُصْعَدُ بِهِ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً وَمَا يُعْرَجُ بِهِ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ فَيُقْبَضُ مِنْهَا وَإِلَيْهَا يَنْتَهِي مَا يُهْبَطُ بِهِ مِنْ فَوْقِهَا فَيُقْبَضُ مِنْهَا إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَى قَالَ فَرَاشٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ قَالَ فَأُعْطِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثَ خِلَالٍ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ وَغُفِرَ لِمَنْ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ الْمُقْحِمَاتُ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was taken on the Night Journey, he was taken as far as Sidratal-Mun taha, which is in the sixth heaven; anything that ascends from earth stops there and is taken from there; anything that comes down from above stops there and is taken from there. He said: "When that covered the lote tree which did cover it!" [an-Najin 53:16], He said: Butterflies of gold. He said: And the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was given three things: the five daily prayers, the final verses of Sooratal-Baqarah, and those of his ummah who do not associate anything with Allah were forgiven major sins that may cause one to end up in Hellfire.
