حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ حَدَّثَنِي خُصَيْفٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ وَمُجَاهِدٍ وَعَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ النُّفَسَاءَ وَالْحَائِضَ تَغْتَسِلُ وَتُحْرِمُ وَتَقْضِي الْمَنَاسِكَ كُلَّهَا غَيْرَ أَنْ لَا تَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ حَتَّى تَطْهُرَ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 3435
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, and he attributed it to the Prophet (PBUH), that women who are bleeding following childbirth and menstruating women should do ghusl and enter ihram, and do all the rituals (of Hajj), but they should not circumambulate the Ka'bah until they become pure.
