حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ عَنْ سَلْمٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا مُسَاعَاةَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ مَنْ سَاعَى فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَدْ أَلْحَقْتُهُ بِعَصَبَتِهِ وَمَنْ ادَّعَى وَلَدَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ رِشْدَةٍ فَلَا يَرِثُ وَلَا يُورَثُ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 3416
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "There is no prosti- tution of slave girls in Islam. Who- ever engaged in such prostitution during the Jahiliyyah (and a child was born as a result), the child is to be attributed to the owners (of the slave girl), and whoever claims a child outside of marriage does not inherit from (the child) and cannot be inherited from (by the child).
