حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَتَحَرَّى أَحَدُكُمْ الصَّلَاةَ طُلُوعَ الشَّمْسِ وَلَا غُرُوبَهَا فَإِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ الشَّيْطَانِ

مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5835

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to say: "No one of you should aim to pray when the sun is rising or when it is setting, for it rises between the two sides of the head of the Shaytaan."
