حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ وَاحِدَةً فَتِلْكَ وَظِيفَةُ الْوُضُوءِ الَّتِي لَا بُدَّ مِنْهَا وَمَنْ تَوَضَّأَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُ كِفْلَانِ وَمَنْ تَوَضَّأَ ثَلَاثًا فَذَلِكَ وُضُوئِي وَوُضُوءُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ قَبْلِي
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5735
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (PBUH) said: "Whoever does wudoo' washing each part once, that is the bare minimum of wudoo' and is essential. Whoever does wudoo' washing each part twice will have a twofold reward. And whoever does wudoo' washing each part three times, that is my wudoo' and the wudoo of the Prophets before me"
