حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ فَأُتِيَ بِبَدَنَةٍ فَأَشْعَرَ صَفْحَةَ سَنَامِهَا الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ سَلَتَ الدَّمَ عَنْهَا وَقَلَّدَهَا نَعْلَيْنِ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِرَاحِلَتِهِ فَرَكِبَهَا فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 3149
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) prayed Zuhr in Dhul-Hulaifah, then his sacrificial animal was brought to him and he cut the right side of its hump, then he wiped the bloodfrom it, then he garlanded it with two sandals. Then his mount was brought to him and he sat on it, and when he reached al-Baida', he entered Hiram for Hajj.
