حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَائُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِکُمْ وَمَنْ کَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ

Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah."
