أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ: أَنَّ رَجُلا مِنْ بَنِي مُدْلِجٍ، يُقَالُ لَهُ: قَتَادَةُ، حَذَفَ ابْنَهُ أَوْ حَذَفَ بِسَيْفٍ، فَأَصَابَ سَاقَهُ فَنُزِيَ فِي جُرْحِهِ فَمَاتَ. فَقَدِمَ سُرَاقَةُ بْنُ جَعْشَمٍ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ. فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: اعْدُدْ لِي عَلَى قُدَيْدٍ عِشْرِينَ وَمِائَةِ بَعِيرٍ حِينَ أَقْدَمُ عَلَيْكَ. فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَخَذَ مِنْ تِلْكَ الإِبِلِ ثَلاثِينَ حِقَّةً وَثَلاثِينَ جَذَعَةً وَأَرْبَعِينَ خَلِفَةً، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَيْنَ أَخُو الْمَقْتُولِ؟ قَالَ: هَأَنَا ذا، قَالَ: خُذْهَا؛ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَيْسَ لِقَاتِلٍ شَيْءٌ» . أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ جِرَاحِ الْعَمْدِ.

Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us the owner, Yahya ibn Said from Amr ibn Shoaib: that a man of the sons Mudlij, said to him: Qatada, delete or delete his son with a sword, injuring his leg Vensa in his wound, and he died. So the robbery of Bin Jaishm was made to Omar Bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and he mentioned that to him. Umar said: Come back to me for twenty and a hundred hundred camels when I am older than you. When Omar, may God be pleased with him, came from that camel thirty thirty, thirty trunk and forty caliphs, then he said: Then say: He said: Here we are, he said: Take it, for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There is nothing for a murderer.” Take it out of the mayor's book.
