حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَکَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ کَعْبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ الشِّعْرِ لَحِکْمَةً

It was narrated from Ubayy bin Ka'b that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "In some poetry there is wisdom."(Sahih)

أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، ← عَبْدِ الرَّحمَنِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ یَغُوث: ← مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَکَمِ ← أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الحَارِثِ، ← الزُّهْرِيِّ، ← يونس، ← عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ← أَبُو بَكْرٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سِمَاکٍ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْ الشِّعْرِ حِکَمًا

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet(saw) said: "In some poetry there is wisdom." (Hasan)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَصْدَقُ کَلِمَةٍ قَالَهَا الشَّاعِرُ کَلِمَةُ لَبِيدٍ أَلَا کُلُّ شَيْئٍ مَا خَلَا اللَّهَ بَاطِلُ وَکَادَ أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah(ra) that the Messenger of Allah(saw) said: "The truest of words spoken by the poet are the words of Labid: "Everything except Allah is false.": And Umayyah bin Abu Salt nearly accepted Islam." (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَی بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْلَی عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَنْشَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِائَةَ قَافِيَةٍ مِنْ شِعْرِ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ يَقُولُ بَيْنَ کُلِّ قَافِيَةٍ هِيهْ وَقَالَ کَادَ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ

It was narrated from' Amr bin Sharid that his father said: I recited one hundred verses of the poetry of Umayyah bin Abu Salt to the Messenger of Allah(saw), and after every line he said, "More."' And he said: "He nearly accepted Islam." (Sahih)
