حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا کَانَتْ تَقُولُ أَمَا تَسْتَحِي الْمَرْأَةُ أَنْ تَهَبَ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّی أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تُرْجِي مَنْ تَشَائُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْکَ مَنْ تَشَائُ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ رَبَّکَ لَيُسَارِعُ فِي هَوَاکَ

It was narrated from Hisham bin,'Urwah, from his father that 'Aishah used to say: Wouldn't a woman feel too shy to offer herself to the Prophet P.B.U.H?" Until Allah revealed: "You (0 Muhammad) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive whom you Will., She said: "Then I said: 'Your Lord is quick to make things easy for you.''' (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ بَکْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مَرْحُومُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ قَالَ کُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ وَعِنْدَهُ ابْنَةٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ أَنَسٌ جَائَتْ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَرَضَتْ نَفْسَهَا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ لَکَ فِيَّ حَاجَةٌ فَقَالَتْ ابْنَتُهُ مَا أَقَلَّ حَيَائَهَا قَالَ هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْکِ رَغِبَتْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَرَضَتْ نَفْسَهَا عَلَيْهِ

Thabit said: "We were sitting with Anas bin Malik, and a daughter of his was with him. Anas said: 'A woman came to the Prophet P.B.U.H and offered herself to him. She said: "0 Messenger of Allah, do YOU have any need of me?''' His daughter said: 'How little modesty she had' He said: 'She was better than you, because she wanted (to marry) the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H, and she offered herself to him.''' (Sahih)
