2835 - حدثنا سعيد قال : حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب قال : أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث عن سعيد بن أبي هلال أنه بلغه Y أن ابن رواحه قال قبل أن يخرجوا قبل مؤتة : ( يا ويح نفسي ما جنيت لها إن لم أشد شدة تنجيني من النار ) فلما التقوا أخذ زيد بن حارثة الراية فقاتل حتى قتل ثم أخذها جعفر بن أبي طالب وأتي بالفرس الذي كان عليها زيد بن حارثة فقال له رجل : تعلم أنها الفرس التي قتل عليها الرجل فلما استوى عليها قال : أيها القوم إني مبتغ لنفسي فابتغوا لأنفسكم فقاتل حتى قتل ثم أتي بها عبد الله بن رواحة فلما ركبها حاد حيدة فقال ( أقسمت يا نفس لتنزلنه كارهة أو لتطاوعنه ) ( مالي أراك تكرهين الجنة ) قال سعيد : ثم نزل فألجأه ظهره إلى جدار فأصيب إصبع من أصابعه فقال : ( هل أنت إلا أصبع دميت وفي سبيل الله ما لقيت ) ( يا نفس لا بد من أجل موقوت يا نفس إن لم تقتلي تموتي ) ثم قاتل حتى قتل فأخذ خالد بن الوليد الراية فلما أدبر بها قال رجل من القوم إني لأرى نخاع رجل يقاتل اليوم فقال خالد : ليس هذا يوم سباب ثم رجع المسلمون على حاميه ومعهم واقد بن عبد الله التميمي وكان من أرمى الناس وقد كبر وقال ارفعوني على ترس فرفعوه فقال : انظروا إلى مواقع نبلي فإن رضيتم أخبروني فرمى المشركين حتى ردهم الله قال ابن أبي هلال : وأخبرني نافع أن ابن عمر أخبره أنه وقف على جعفر يومئذ وهو قتيل قال : فعددت به خمسين بين طعنه وضربة ليس منها شيء في دبره قال سعيد : وبلغني أنهم دفنوا يومئذ زيدا و جعفرا و ابن رواحة في حفرة واحدة

2837 - حدثنا سعيد قال : حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب قال : أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث أن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله الزهري أخبره عن بريدة بن سفيان الأسلمي Y أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم بعث عاصم بن ثابت و زيد بن دثنة أحد بني بياضة و خبيب بن عدي و مرثد بن أبي مرثد إلى بني لحيان بالرجيع فقاتلوهم حتى أخذوا لأنفسهم عقدا إلا عاصم فإنه أبى وقال : لا أقبل اليوم عهدا من مشرك ودعا عند ذلك وقال : اللهم إني أحمي لك اليوم دينك فاحم لي لحمي فجعل يقاتل ويقول : ما علتي وأنا جلد نابل * تزل عن صفحتي المعابل * الموت حق والحياة باطل * ويقول وهو يحرض نفسه : أبو سليمان وريش المقعد * وضالة كالجحيم الموقد * إذا النواحي ارتعشت لم أرعد * فلما قتلوه كان في قليب لهم فقال بعضهم لبعض هذا الذي آلت فيه المكية وهي السلافة أحد بني الأقلح بن عمرو بن عوف وكان عاصم يوم أحد قتل لها نفرا ثلاثة كلهم صاحب لواء قريش يومئذ وهم من بني عبد الدار فجعل يرمي ـ وكان راميا ـ ويقول : خذها وأنا ابن الأقلح فتؤتي به فنقول كلما أتيت بإنسان : من قتله ؟ فيقولون ما ندري غير أنا سمعنا رجلا وهو يقول : خذها وأنا ابن الأقلح فقالت : أفلحنا فحلفت لئن قدرت على رأسه لتشربن في قحفة الخمر فأرادوا أن يحتزوا رأسه ليذهبوا به إليها فبعث الله رجلا من دبر فلم يستطيعوا أن يحتزوا رأسه وأسر خبيب بن عدي و زيد بن دثنة فانطلق بهما حتى قدم بهما مكة فبيع حبيب من بعض الجمحيين بأمة سوداء فجاء عقبة بن عدي أحد بني نوفل بن عبد مناف يسأله أن يعطيه إياه فيقتله مكان أخيه طعمة بن عدي لأنه قتله يوم بدر فأبى أن يبيعه إياه وأعطاه إياه عطية فأساء إليه في إساره فقال : ما يصنع القوم الكرام هذا بأسيرهم قال : فأخرجوه وأحسنوا إليه وجعلوه عند امرأة تحرسه في إساره حتى قيل إنك مخروج بك لتقتل فقال للمرأة أعطيني موسى استطيب به فأعطته وكان لها ابن صغير فأقبل إليه الصبي فأخذه فأجلسه عنده فظنت المرأة أنه يريد أن يقتله فصاحت إليه تناشده وأراد أن يفزعها ثم أرسله وقال عند ذلك : ما كنت لأغدر فخرج به ليقتل فمر بنسوة فقلن : هذا خبيب الأثربي يقتل بطعمة فلما دنا من الخشبة قال : ( والله ما أجعل إذا كان في تقي على أي جنب كان لله مصرعي ) ( وذلك في ذات الإله وإن يشأ يبارك في أعضاء شلو ممزق ) ثم قال : دعوني أسجد سجدتين ـ وكان أول من سنها ـ ثم قال : لو ما تقولوا جزع خبيب من الموت لزدت سجدتين أخريين وقال عند ذلك اللهم إني لا أجد من يبلغ رسولك مني السلام فبلغ رسولك مني السلام فزعموا أن النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم قال حينئذ : وعليه السلام فقال أصحابه : يا النبي الله على من ؟ قال : أخوكم خبيب بن عدي يقتل فلما رفع على الخشبة استقبل الدعاء قال الرجل : فلما رأيته يريد أن يدعو ألبدت بالأرض فقال : اللهم أحصهم عددا واقتلهم بددا فلم يحل الحول ـ زعموا ـ ومنهم أحد حي غير ذلك الرجل الذي لبد بالأرض

2842 - حدثنا سعيد قال : حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب قال : أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث عن سعيد بن أبي هلال عن رجل من بني مازن أنه بلغه Y أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قام يوم أحد فقال : ألا رجل يأتيني بخبر سعد بن الربيع فإن آخر عهدي به أني رأيته بملاذ الجبل وقد شرعت إليه الرماح فقام فتى من الأنصار فقال : أنا يا رسول الله فانطلق فوجده تحت شجرة فأخبره الخبر فقال اقرأ على رسول الله السلام وأخبره أني طعنت ثنتي عشرة طعنة وقد أنفذت مقاتلي كلها واقرأ على قومك السلام وقل لهم إن سعد بن الربيع يقول لكم : إنه لا عذر لكم إن قتل رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم حتى لا يبقى منكم أحد وأصيب سعد فأوصى إلى أبي بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه فدخل رجل على أبي بكر وبنت سعد على بطنه وهو يشمها فقال : يا خليفة رسول الله ابنتك هذه قال : لا بل ابنة رجل هو خير مني قال الرجل : من هذا الذي هو خير منك بعد رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال سعد بن الربيع كان من النقباء يوم العقبة وشهد بدرا وقتل يوم أحد
