(It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: "When you take hold of the tails of cattle (and are content with farming), and enter into 'eenah transactions, and forsake jihad for the sake of Allah, Allah will place a yoke of humiliation firmly around your necks and wil not relieve you of it until you go back to the way you were and repent to Allah."

(It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:) I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: "There will be a hijrah after Hijrah, to the place to which your father Ibraaheem (as) migrated, until there will be no one left in other lands except the most evil of their people, and they will be cast out by their lands and abhorred by Allah. The fire will gather them with the monkeys and pigs; it will halt where they halt (to rest during the day) and it will stay overnight with them where they stay overnight; whoever falls into it will have no escape."

(It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:) and I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: "There will emerge from among my ummah people who do evil deeds; they will recite the Qur'an but it will not go any further than their throats.” Yazeed said: I do not know but that he said: "One of you would regard his (good) deeds as insignificant compared to theirs. They will kill the people of Islam. When they emerge, kill them; when they emerge, kill them; when they emerge, kill them; and glad tidings to the one who kills them, glad tidings to the one who kills them. Every time a head of theirs appears, Allah (PBUH) will cut it off "Tte Messenger of Allah (PBUH) rented that twenty times or more, whilst I was listening.

It was nar rated from Abdullah ibn "Umar that when the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) came back from Uhud, he heard the women of the Ansaar weeping for their husbands. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "But Hamzah has no one to weep for him." News of that reached the women of the Ansaar and they came weeping for Hamzah. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) woke up at night and heard them weeping and he said: "Woe to them! Are they still weeping after the night has passed? Tell them to go back and not to weep for anyone who dies after today."

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that he was sitting with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and he said: "O Allah forgive me and accept my repentance, for You are the Acceptor of repentance, the Oft-Forgiving" (and he repeated it) until he had counted one hundred times on his hand.

It was narrated that Tawbah al-'Anbari said: ash-Sha'bi said to me: Did you see the hadeeth of al-Hasan from the Prophet I sat with ibn 'Umar for nearly two years or one and a half years, and I did not hear him narrate anything from the Prophet (PBUH) but this. He said: Some of the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH), among whom was Sa'd, went to eat some meat, and one of the wives of the Prophet (PBUH) called out to them that it was lizard meat, so they refrained from eating it. And the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Eat, for it is halaal - or there is nothing wrong with it; Tawbah (one of the narrators) is the one who was not sure - but it is not something I eat."
