حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا کَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْزُوقٍ عَنْ عَطَائِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْمُتَحَابُّونَ فِي جَلَالِي لَهُمْ مَنَابِرُ مِنْ نُورٍ يَغْبِطُهُمْ النَّبِيُّونَ وَالشُّهَدَائُ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَائِ وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَعُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي مَالِکٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ ثَوْبَ

Mu'adh binJabal narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, said: 'Those who love each other for the sake of My Majesty shall be upon podiums of light, and they will be admired by the Prophets and the martyrs.'

حَدَّثَنَا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِکٌ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمْ اللَّهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلُّهُ إِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ وَشَابٌّ نَشَأَ بِعِبَادَةِ اللَّهِ وَرَجُلٌ کَانَ قَلْبُهُ مُعَلَّقًا بِالْمَسْجِدِ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْهُ حَتَّی يَعُودَ إِلَيْهِ وَرَجُلَانِ تَحَابَّا فِي اللَّهِ فَاجْتَمَعَا عَلَی ذَلِکَ وَتَفَرَّقَا وَرَجُلٌ ذَکَرَ اللَّهَ خَالِيًا فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاهُ وَرَجُلٌ دَعَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ ذَاتُ حَسَبٍ وَجَمَالٍ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَأَخْفَاهَا حَتَّی لَا تَعْلَمَ شِمَالُهُ مَا تُنْفِقُ يَمِينُهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَهَکَذَا رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ مَالِکِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ مِثْلَ هَذَا وَشَکَّ فِيهِ وَقَالَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ رَوَاهُ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَلَمْ يَشُکَّ فِيهِ يَقُولُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

Hafs bin 'Asim narrated from Abu Hurairah or Abu Sa'eed that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Seven shall be shaded by Allah under his shade on a day in which there is no shade except His Shade: A just Imam, a young person raised upon worshiping Allah, a man whose heart is attached to the Masjid when he leaves from it until he returns from it, two men who love each other for Allah's sake, coming together upon that, and parting upon that, a man who remembers Allah in privacy and his eyes swell with tears, a man invited by a woman of status and beauty, but he says: 'I fear Allah, Mighty and Sublime is He,' and a man who conceals the charity he gives such that his left hand does not know what his right hand has spent.

اَبِیْ سَعِیْدٍ ← أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَوْ ← حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ← خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ← مَالِكٍ، ← مَعْنٌ ← الْأَنْصَارِيُّ،

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدِهِ الْخَيْرَ عَجَّلَ لَهُ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدِهِ الشَّرَّ أَمْسَكَ عَنْهُ بِذَنْبِهِ حَتَّى يُوَافِيَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When Allah wants good for his slave, He hastens his punishment in the world. And when He wants bad for His slave, He withholds his sins from him until he appears before Him on the Day of Judgement. And with this (same) chain, (it was reported) from the Prophet (ﷺ) who said: Indeed greater reward comes with greater trial. And indeed, when Allah loves a people He subjects them to trials, so whoever is content, then for him is pleasure, and whoever is discontent, then for him is wrath.

أَنَسٍ، ← سَعْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ← يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ← اللَّيْثُ ← قُتَيْبَةُ،

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ظِلَالٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَخَذْتُ کَرِيمَتَيْ عَبْدِي فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَکُنْ لَهُ جَزَائٌ عِنْدِي إِلَّا الْجَنَّةَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَأَبُو ظِلَالٍ اسْمُهُ هِلَالٌ

Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: Indeed Allah [Most High] said: 'When I take My slave's sight in the world, then there shall be no reward for him with Me except Paradise.'

اَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ، ← أَبُو ظِلَالٍ ← عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ← عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ،

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَی الْقَطَّانُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَائَ أَبُو زُهَيْرٍ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوَدُّ أَهْلُ الْعَافِيَةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حِينَ يُعْطَی أَهْلُ الْبَلَائِ الثَّوَابَ لَوْ أَنَّ جُلُودَهُمْ کَانَتْ قُرِضَتْ فِي الدُّنْيَا بِالْمَقَارِيضِ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَقَدْ رَوَی بَعْضُهُمْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَوْلَهُ شَيْئًا مِنْ هَذَا

Jabir narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: On the Day of Judgement, when the people who were tried (in this world) are given their rewards, the people who were pardoned (in life), will wish that their skins had been cut off with scissors while they were in the world. This Hadith is Gharib, we do not know of it with this chain except through this route. Some of them have reported something similar to this Hadith from Al-A`mash, from Talhah bin Musarrif from Masruq.

جَابِرٍ ← أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ← الْاَعْمَشِ ← عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَائَ أَبُو زُهَيْرٍ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَی الْقَطَّانُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ

حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَال سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ رِجَالٌ يَخْتِلُونَ الدُّنْيَا بِالدِّينِ يَلْبَسُونَ لِلنَّاسِ جُلُودَ الضَّأْنِ مِنْ اللِّينِ أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ أَحْلَی مِنْ السُّکَّرِ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ قُلُوبُ الذِّئَابِ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَبِي يَغْتَرُّونَ أَمْ عَلَيَّ يَجْتَرِئُونَ فَبِي حَلَفْتُ لَأَبْعَثَنَّ عَلَی أُولَئِکَ مِنْهُمْ فِتْنَةً تَدَعُ الْحَلِيمَ مِنْهُمْ حَيْرَانًا وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: In the end of time there shall come men who will swindle the world with religion, decieving the people in soft skins of sheep, their tongues are sweeter than sugar and their hearts are the hearts of wolves. Allah [Mighty and Sublime is He] says: 'Is it me you try to delude or is it against me whom you conspire? By Me, I swear to send upon these people,among them, a Fitnah that leaves them utterly devoid of reason.

أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ← أَبِي ← يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ← ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ← سُوَيْد

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ آخَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ سَلْمَانَ وَبَيْنَ أَبِي الدَّرْدَائِ فَزَارَ سَلْمَانُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَائِ فَرَأَی أُمَّ الدَّرْدَائِ مُتَبَذِّلَةً فَقَالَ مَا شَأْنُکِ مُتَبَذِّلَةً قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَخَاکَ أَبَا الدَّرْدَائِ لَيْسَ لَهُ حَاجَةٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا قَالَ فَلَمَّا جَائَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَائِ قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا فَقَالَ کُلْ فَإِنِّي صَائِمٌ قَالَ مَا أَنَا بِآکِلٍ حَتَّی تَأْکُلَ قَالَ فَأَکَلَ فَلَمَّا کَانَ اللَّيْلُ ذَهَبَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَائِ لِيَقُومَ فَقَالَ لَهُ سَلْمَانُ نَمْ فَنَامَ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ يَقُومُ فَقَالَ لَهُ نَمْ فَنَامَ فَلَمَّا کَانَ عِنْدَ الصُّبْحِ قَالَ لَهُ سَلْمَانُ قُمْ الْآنَ فَقَامَا فَصَلَّيَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ لِنَفْسِکَ عَلَيْکَ حَقًّا وَلِرَبِّکَ عَلَيْکَ حَقًّا وَلِضَيْفِکَ عَلَيْکَ حَقًّا وَإِنَّ لِأَهْلِکَ عَلَيْکَ حَقًّا فَأَعْطِ کُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ فَأَتَيَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَکَرَا ذَلِکَ فَقَالَ لَهُ صَدَقَ سَلْمَانُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ وَأَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ اسْمُهُ عُتْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ أَخُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ

Ubu Juhaifah narrated from his father who said: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) made a bond of brotherhood between Salman and Abu Ad-Darda. Salman went to visit Abu Ad-Darda, and saw Umm Ad-Darda wearing shabby clothes, So he said: 'Why are you wearing such shabby clothes?' She said: 'Your brother Abu Ad-Darda has no interest in the world.' So when Abu Ad-Darda arrived, he prepared some food for him (Salman) and said: 'Eat, for I am fasting.' He said: 'I shall not eat until you eat.' He said: So he ate. When night came Abu Ad-Darda started to leave and stand (in prayer), but Salman said to him: 'Sleep.' So he slept. Then he went to stand (in prayer) but he said to him: 'Sleep'. So he slept. When the morning (Fajr) came,Salman said: 'Get up now.'So he got up to perform Salat. Then he (Salman) said: 'Indeed your self has a right upon you, your Lord has a right upon you, your guest has a right upon you, and your family has a right upon you. So give each the right they are due. The Prophet (s.a.w), and that was mentioned to him, so he said: 'Salman has told the truth.'

أَبِيهِ ← عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، ← أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ، ← جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی الْأَزْدِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْکُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدٌ الْخَثْعَمِيُّ عَنْ أَسْمَائَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ الْخَثْعَمِيَّةِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ تَخَيَّلَ وَاخْتَالَ وَنَسِيَ الْکَبِيرَ الْمُتَعَالِ بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ تَجَبَّرَ وَاعْتَدَی وَنَسِيَ الْجَبَّارَ الْأَعْلَی بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ سَهَا وَلَهَا وَنَسِيَ الْمَقَابِرَ وَالْبِلَی بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ عَتَا وَطَغَی وَنَسِيَ الْمُبْتَدَا وَالْمُنْتَهَی بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ يَخْتِلُ الدُّنْيَا بِالدِّينِ بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ يَخْتِلُ الدِّينَ بِالشُّبُهَاتِ بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ طَمَعٌ يَقُودُهُ بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ هَوًی يُضِلُّهُ بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدٌ رَغَبٌ يُذِلُّهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِالْقَوِيِّ

Asma bint 'Umais Al-Khath'amiyyah narrated that The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: What an evil servant is the one who fancies himself and becomes vain forgetting the Most Great, the Most High. What an evil servant is the one who forces and behaves hostility, forgetting the Compeller, the Most High. What an evil servant is the one who is heedless and diverted, forgetting about the graves and the trials. What an evil servant is the one who is violent and tyrannical, forgetting his beginnings or his end. What an evil servant is the one who seeks the world through the religion. What an evil servant is the one who seeks the religion through his desires. What an evil servant is the one who puts all hope in his own zeal. What an evil servant is the worshipper who is misled by his desire. What an evil servant is the one whose aspirations humiliate him.

أَسْمَائَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ الْخَثْعَمِيَّةِ ← زَيْدٌ الْخَثْعَمِيُّ ← هَاشِمٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَعِيدٍ الكُوفِيُّ ← عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی الْأَزْدِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ مُوسَی حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُرَّةَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَحْيُوا مِنْ اللَّهِ حَقَّ الْحَيَائِ قَالَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نَسْتَحْيِي وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ قَالَ لَيْسَ ذَاکَ وَلَکِنَّ الِاسْتِحْيَائَ مِنْ اللَّهِ حَقَّ الْحَيَائِ أَنْ تَحْفَظَ الرَّأْسَ وَمَا وَعَی وَالْبَطْنَ وَمَا حَوَی وَلْتَذْکُرْ الْمَوْتَ وَالْبِلَی وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الْآخِرَةَ تَرَکَ زِينَةَ الدُّنْيَا فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِکَ فَقَدْ اسْتَحْيَا مِنْ اللَّهِ حَقَّ الْحَيَائِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبَانَ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Have Haya' for Allah as is His due. [He said:] We said: O Prophet of Allah! We have Haya', and all praise is due to Allah. He said: Not that, but having the Haya' for Allah which He is due is to protect the head and what it contains and to protect the insides and what it includes, and to remember death and the trial, and whoever intends the Hereafter, he leaves the adornments of the world. So whoever does that, then he has indeed fulfilled Haya', meaning the Haya' which Allah is due.

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَکِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَی بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْکَيِّسُ مَنْ دَانَ نَفْسَهُ وَعَمِلَ لِمَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَالْعَاجِزُ مَنْ أَتْبَعَ نَفْسَهُ هَوَاهَا وَتَمَنَّی عَلَی اللَّهِ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ قَالَ وَمَعْنَی قَوْلِهِ مَنْ دَانَ نَفْسَهُ يَقُولُ حَاسَبَ نَفْسَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحَاسَبَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيُرْوَی عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ حَاسِبُوا أَنْفُسَکُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحَاسَبُوا وَتَزَيَّنُوا لِلْعَرْضِ الْأَکْبَرِ وَإِنَّمَا يَخِفُّ الْحِسَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَی مَنْ حَاسَبَ نَفْسَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَيُرْوَی عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ قَالَ لَا يَکُونُ الْعَبْدُ تَقِيًّا حَتَّی يُحَاسِبَ نَفْسَهُ کَمَا يُحَاسِبُ شَرِيکَهُ مِنْ أَيْنَ مَطْعَمُهُ وَمَلْبَسُهُ

Shaddad bin Aws narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: The clever person ids the one who subjugates his soul, and works for what is after death. And the incapable is the one who follows his desires and merely hopes in Allah.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَدُّوَيْهِ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْحَکَمِ الْعُرَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْوَصَّافِيُّ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُصَلَّاهُ فَرَأَی نَاسًا کَأَنَّهُمْ يَکْتَشِرُونَ قَالَ أَمَا إِنَّکُمْ لَوْ أَکْثَرْتُمْ ذِکْرَ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ لَشَغَلَکُمْ عَمَّا أَرَی فَأَکْثِرُوا مِنْ ذِکْرِ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ الْمَوْتِ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَأْتِ عَلَی الْقَبْرِ يَوْمٌ إِلَّا تَکَلَّمَ فِيهِ فَيَقُولُ أَنَا بَيْتُ الْغُرْبَةِ وَأَنَا بَيْتُ الْوَحْدَةِ وَأَنَا بَيْتُ التُّرَابِ وَأَنَا بَيْتُ الدُّودِ فَإِذَا دُفِنَ الْعَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنُ قَالَ لَهُ الْقَبْرُ مَرْحَبًا وَأَهْلًا أَمَا إِنْ کُنْتَ لَأَحَبَّ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَی ظَهْرِي إِلَيَّ فَإِذْ وُلِّيتُکَ الْيَوْمَ وَصِرْتَ إِلَيَّ فَسَتَرَی صَنِيعِيَ بِکَ قَالَ فَيَتَّسِعُ لَهُ مَدَّ بَصَرِهِ وَيُفْتَحُ لَهُ بَابٌ إِلَی الْجَنَّةِ وَإِذَا دُفِنَ الْعَبْدُ الْفَاجِرُ أَوْ الْکَافِرُ قَالَ لَهُ الْقَبْرُ لَا مَرْحَبًا وَلَا أَهْلًا أَمَا إِنْ کُنْتَ لَأَبْغَضَ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَی ظَهْرِي إِلَيَّ فَإِذْ وُلِّيتُکَ الْيَوْمَ وَصِرْتَ إِلَيَّ فَسَتَرَی صَنِيعِيَ بِکَ قَالَ فَيَلْتَئِمُ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّی يَلْتَقِيَ عَلَيْهِ وَتَخْتَلِفَ أَضْلَاعُهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَصَابِعِهِ فَأَدْخَلَ بَعْضَهَا فِي جَوْفِ بَعْضٍ قَالَ وَيُقَيِّضُ اللَّهُ لَهُ سَبْعِينَ تِنِّينًا لَوْ أَنْ وَاحِدًا مِنْهَا نَفَخَ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا أَنْبَتَتْ شَيْئًا مَا بَقِيَتْ الدُّنْيَا فَيَنْهَشْنَهُ وَيَخْدِشْنَهُ حَتَّی يُفْضَی بِهِ إِلَی الْحِسَابِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا الْقَبْرُ رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ حُفْرَةٌ مِنْ حُفَرِ النَّارِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ

Abu Sa'eed narrated: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) entered his Musalla and saw the people who looked as if they were smiling. So he said: 'Indeed, if you were to increase in remembrance of the severer of pleasures, then you would find yourselves too busy for what I see. So increase in remembrance of death, the severer of pleasures. For indeed there is no day that comes upon the grave except that it speaks, saying: I am thee house of the estranged, I am the house of the solitude, I am the house of dust, and I am the house of the worm-eaten. When the believing worshipper is buried, the grave says to him: Welcome, make yourself comfortable. Indeed, to me, you are the most beloved of those who walked upon me. Since you have been entrusted to me and delivered to me today, you shall see what I have arranged for you. It will then widen for him so that his sight extends, and the door to Paradise is opened for him. And when the wicked worshipper or the disbeliever is buried , the grave says to him: You are not welcome, do not get comfortable. Indeed, to me, you are the most hated of those who walked upon me. Since you have been entrusted to me and delivered to me today, you shall see what I have arranged for you.' He said: 'It will begin closing in on him(squeezing him) until his ribs are crushing each other.' He said: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) clasped some of his fingers between others and said: 'Seventy giant serpents will constrict him, if even one of them were to hiss on the earth, nothing upon it would grow as long as it remained. They will chew on him and bite him until he is brought to the Reckoning.' He said: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'The grave is but a garden from the gardens of Paradise, or a pit from the pits of the Fire.'

اَبِیْ سَعِیْدٍ ← عَطِيَّةَ، ← عبيد الله بن الوليد الوصافي ← الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ الْعُرَنِيُّ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَدُّوَيْهِ

حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَيُونُسَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ الْمِسْوَرَ بْنَ مَخْرَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَهُوَ حَلِيفُ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ لُؤَيٍّ وَکَانَ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ فَقَدِمَ بِمَالٍ مِنْ الْبَحْرَيْنِ وَسَمِعَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ بِقُدُومِ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ فَوَافَوْا صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا صَلَّی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ انْصَرَفَ فَتَعَرَّضُوا لَهُ فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ رَآهُمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَظُنُّکُمْ سَمِعْتُمْ أَنْ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ قَدِمَ بِشَيْئٍ قَالُوا أَجَلْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَأَبْشِرُوا وَأَمِّلُوا مَا يَسُرُّکُمْ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا الْفَقْرَ أَخْشَی عَلَيْکُمْ وَلَکِنِّي أَخْشَی أَنْ تُبْسَطَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَيْکُمْ کَمَا بُسِطَتْ عَلَی مَنْ قَبْلَکُمْ فَتَنَافَسُوهَا کَمَا تَنَافَسُوهَا فَتُهْلِکَکُمْ کَمَا أَهْلَکَتْهُمْ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ

Al-Mustawrad bin Makhramah narrated that 'Amir bin 'Awf informed him- and he was an ally of Banu 'Amr bin Lu'ay who had participated with The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) at(the battle of ) Badr, he said: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) had dispatched Abu 'Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah, so he arrived with the wealth from Al-Bahrain. When the Ansar had heard of the arrival of Abu 'Ubaidah they were attending Salat Al-Fajr. So the the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) performed the Salat and when he finished, they assembled before him. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) smiled when he saw them, then he said: 'I think that you heard that Abu 'Ubaidah has arrived with something?' They said: 'Yes O Messenger of Allah! 'He said: 'Then receive good news, and hope for what will please you. By Allah! It is not poverty that I fear for you, but what I fear for you is that the world will be presented for you just as it was presented for those before you,then you will compete for it, just as they competed for it, and it will destroy you, just as it destroyed them.'

أَنَّ الْمِسْوَرَ بْنَ مَخْرَمَةَ, ← الزهري أن عروة بن الزبير ← مَعْمَرٌ وَيُونُسُ: ← عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ ← سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ

حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ وَابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّ حَکِيمَ بْنَ حِزَامٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَعْطَانِي ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهُ فَأَعْطَانِي ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهُ فَأَعْطَانِي ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا حَکِيمُ إِنَّ هَذَا الْمَالَ خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ فَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ بِسَخَاوَةِ نَفْسٍ بُورِکَ لَهُ فِيهِ وَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ بِإِشْرَافِ نَفْسٍ لَمْ يُبَارَکْ لَهُ فِيهِ وَکَانَ کَالَّذِي يَأْکُلُ وَلَا يَشْبَعُ وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَی فَقَالَ حَکِيمٌ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَکَ بِالْحَقِّ لَا أَرْزَأُ أَحَدًا بَعْدَکَ شَيْئًا حَتَّی أُفَارِقَ الدُّنْيَا فَکَانَ أَبُو بَکْرٍ يَدْعُو حَکِيمًا إِلَی الْعَطَائِ فَيَأْبَی أَنْ يَقْبَلَهُ ثُمَّ إِنَّ عُمَرَ دَعَاهُ لِيُعْطِيَهُ فَأَبَی أَنْ يَقْبَلَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُکُمْ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَلَی حَکِيمٍ أَنِّي أَعْرِضُ عَلَيْهِ حَقَّهُ مِنْ هَذَا الْفَيْئِ فَيَأْبَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَهُ فَلَمْ يَرْزَأْ حَکِيمٌ أَحَدًا مِنْ النَّاسِ شَيْئًا بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّی تُوُفِّيَ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ

Urwah bin Az-Zubair and Ibn Musayyab narrated that Hakim bin Hizam said: I (once) asked the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) (for something) and he gave it to me. Then I asked him (again) and he gave it to me. Then I asked him (again) and he gave it to me. Then I asked him (again), so he gave it to me. Then he said: 'O Hakim! Indeed this wealth is green and sweet, so whoever takes it without asking for it, he will be blessed in it. And whoever takes it, insisting upon it, he will not be blessed in it. He is like the one who eats but does not get satisfied and contended. And the upper hand (giving) is better than the lower hand (receiving). So Hakim said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! By the One who sent you with the Truth! I shall not ask anyone for anything after you until I depart the world.' So Abu Bakr used to call Hakim to give him something, but he refused to accept it. Then 'Umar called him to give to him, but he refused to accept it. So 'Umar said: O you Muslims! I would like you to bear witness that I presented Hakim with his due of these spoils of war but he refused to accept it. So Hakim never asked anyone of the people for anything after the Messenger of Allah, until he died.

عروة وابن المسيب ← الزُّهْرِيِّ، ← يُونُسَ ← عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ← سُوَيْد

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ صَبِيحٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبَانَ وَهُوَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ کَانَتْ الْآخِرَةُ هَمَّهُ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ غِنَاهُ فِي قَلْبِهِ وَجَمَعَ لَهُ شَمْلَهُ وَأَتَتْهُ الدُّنْيَا وَهِيَ رَاغِمَةٌ وَمَنْ کَانَتْ الدُّنْيَا هَمَّهُ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ فَقْرَهُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ وَفَرَّقَ عَلَيْهِ شَمْلَهُ وَلَمْ يَأْتِهِ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَا قُدِّرَ لَهُ

Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: Whoever makes the Hereafter his goal, Allah makes his heart rich, and organizes his affairs, and the world comes to him whether it want to or not. And whoever makes the world his goal, Allah puts his poverty right before his eyes, and disorganizes his affairs, and the world does not come to him, except what has been decreed for him.

اَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ، ← يزيد بن أبان وهو الرقاشي ← الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صَبِيحٍ ← وَكِيعٌ، ← هَنَّادٌ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَی بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی يَقُولُ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ تَفَرَّغْ لِعِبَادَتِي أَمْلَأْ صَدْرَکَ غِنًی وَأَسُدَّ فَقْرَکَ وَإِلَّا تَفْعَلْ مَلَأْتُ يَدَيْکَ شُغْلًا وَلَمْ أَسُدَّ فَقْرَکَ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيُّ اسْمُهُ هُرْمُزُ

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: Indeed Allah, Most High said: 'O son of Adam! Devote yourself to My worship, I will fill your chest with riches and alleviate your poverty. And if you do not do so, then I will fill your hands with problems and not alleviate your poverty.'

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ، ← أَبِيهِ ← عِمْرَانَ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ ← عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ← عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ عَزْرَةَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ کَانَ لَنَا قِرَامُ سِتْرٍ فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ عَلَی بَابِي فَرَآهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ انْزَعِيهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُذَکِّرُنِي الدُّنْيَا قَالَتْ وَکَانَ لَنَا سَمَلُ قَطِيفَةٍ تَقُولُ عَلَمُهَا مِنْ حَرِيرٍ کُنَّا نَلْبَسُهَا قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ

Aishah narrated: We had a cloth which had some pictures on it as a curtain on my door. The Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) saw it and said: 'Remove it, for it reminds me of the world.' She said: We had a piece of velvet that had patches of silk on it which we used to wear.

وَکَانَ لَنَا سَمَلُ قَطِيفَةٍ تَقُولُ عَلَمُهَا مِنْ حَرِيرٍ کُنَّا نَلْبَسُهَا ← "انْزِعِيهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُذَكِّرُنِي الدُّنْيَا" ← کَانَ لَنَا قِرَامُ سِتْرٍ فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ عَلَی بَابِي فَرَآهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ← عَائِشَةَ ← سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ← حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ ← عَزْرَۃَ ← دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، ← أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ← هَنَّادٌ

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُکَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ کَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَقُولُ إِنَّا لَجُلُوسٌ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِذْ طَلَعَ مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ مَا عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا بُرْدَةٌ لَهُ مَرْقُوعَةٌ بِفَرْوٍ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَکَی لِلَّذِي کَانَ فِيهِ مِنْ النِّعْمَةِ وَالَّذِي هُوَ الْيَوْمَ فِيهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَيْفَ بِکُمْ إِذَا غَدَا أَحَدُکُمْ فِي حُلَّةٍ وَرَاحَ فِي حُلَّةٍ وَوُضِعَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ صَحْفَةٌ وَرُفِعَتْ أُخْرَی وَسَتَرْتُمْ بُيُوتَکُمْ کَمَا تُسْتَرُ الْکَعْبَةُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَحْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ مِنَّا الْيَوْمَ نَتَفَرَّغُ لِلْعِبَادَةِ وَنُکْفَی الْمُؤْنَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَأَنْتُمْ الْيَوْمَ خَيْرٌ مِنْکُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ هُوَ ابْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ وَهُوَ مَدَنِيٌّ وَقَدْ رَوَی عَنْهُ مَالِکُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ الَّذِي رَوَی عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ رَوَی عَنْهُ وَکِيعٌ وَمَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ کُوفِيٌّ رَوَی عَنْهُ سُفْيَانُ وَشُعْبَةُ وَابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ الْأَئِمَّةِ

Yazid bin Ziyad narrated from Muhammad bin Ka'b Al-Qurazi who heard from Abi Talib narrated that he said: 'I was sitting in a gathering with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) when Mus'ab bin 'Umair appeared before us, wearing nothing but a Burdah patched with some animal furs. When the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) saw him he began crying because of the good life he previously had compared to the state that he was in that day. Then the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'How will you people be, when the late morning comes upon one of you while wearing a Hullah, and at the end of the day he is in, (another) Hullah, when a platter is placed in front of him while another is removed, and you cover your houses just as the Ka'bah is covered?' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah! On that day we will be better than we are today, devoting ourselves to worship, satisfied with our good fortune.' So the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'No, today you are better than you will be on that day.'

عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ← مَنْ ← مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ، ← يزِيد بن زِيَاد ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ ← يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ← هَنَّادٌ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقُرَشِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی الْبَکَّائُ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ تَجَشَّأَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ کُفَّ عَنَّا جُشَائَکَ فَإِنَّ أَکْثَرَهُمْ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا أَطْوَلُهُمْ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ

Yahya Al-Bakka' narrated from Ibn 'Umar who said: A man belched in the presence of the Prophet(s.a.w), so he said: 'Restain your belching from us. For indeed those who are filled most in the world will be the hungriest on the Day of Judgement.'

أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ ← أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَفِي الْبَاب ← کُفَّ عَنَّا جُشَائَکَ فَإِنَّ أَکْثَرَهُمْ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا أَطْوَلُهُمْ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ← تَجَشَّأَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ← ابْنِ عُمَرَ ← يَحْيَی الْبَکَّائِ ← عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقُرَشِيُّ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ

و قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَلَّهُ أَفْرَحُ بِتَوْبَةِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ رَجُلٍ بِأَرْضِ فَلَاةٍ دَوِيَّةٍ مَهْلَكَةٍ مَعَهُ رَاحِلَتُهُ عَلَيْهَا زَادُهُ وَطَعَامُهُ وَشَرَابُهُ وَمَا يُصْلِحُهُ فَأَضَلَّهَا فَخَرَجَ فِي طَلَبِهَا حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ أَرْجِعُ إِلَى مَكَانِي الَّذِي أَضْلَلْتُهَا فِيهِ فَأَمُوتُ فِيهِ فَرَجَعَ إِلَى مَكَانِهِ فَغَلَبَتْهُ عَيْنُهُ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ فَإِذَا رَاحِلَتُهُ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ عَلَيْهَا طَعَامُهُ وَشَرَابُهُ وَمَا يُصْلِحُهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَفِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَالنُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ وَأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

And the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Allah is more pleased with the repentance of one of you that a man in a desolate, barren, destructive wasteland, who has his mount carrying his provisions, his food, and his drink and what he needs with him. Then it wanders away. So he goes to find it until he is on the brink of death. He says: 'I will return to the place where I lost it, to die.' So he returns to his place and his eyes become heavy (falling asleep). Then he awakens to find his mount at his head carrying his food, drink and what he needs.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ ذَنْبٍ أَجْدَرُ أَنْ يُعَجِّلَ اللَّهُ لِصَاحِبِهِ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعَ مَا يَدَّخِرُ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ الْبَغْيِ وَقَطِيعَةِ الرَّحِمِ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

Abu Bakrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: There is no sin more worthy of Allah hastening the punishment upon its practitioner in the world – along with what is in store for him in the Hereafter – than tyranny and severing the ties of kinship.” (Sahih)
