عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِی اللہُ عَنْہُ، قَالَ: خُسِفَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَضَلَّی النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَحَکَی ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ صَلاتَہُ رَکْعَتَیْنِ فِی کُلِّ رَکْعَۃٍ رَکْعَتَیْنِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَھُمْ، فَقَالَ:((إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آیتَا مَنْ آیاتِ اللہ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لا یُخْسَفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ، وَلا لِحَیَاتِہِ، فَإِذَا رَأَیْتُمْ ذَلِکْ فَافْزَ عُوا إِلَی ذِکْرِاللہِ))۔

Ibn Abbas, may Allہ Anہ, said: Khsvet sun Fazli Prophet peace Allہ Alیہ him, Vhکی Ibn Abbas that Slatہ Rکatیn in each Rکaۃ Rکatیn then Khtabھm, he said: ((The sun and the moon Eta verses Allہ Almighty does not یkhsvan to the death of one, not For life, so if you see that, win, and go to the remembrance of Allah.))۔
